原来我们在许多事上都有过失；若有人在言语上没有过失，他就是完全的人，也能勒住自己的全身。

其实世上没有行善而不犯罪的义人。

我也知道，住在我里面的，就是我肉体之中，没有善。因为立志为善由得我，只是行出来由不得我。我所愿意的善，我不去做；我所不愿意的恶，我反而去做。如果我去做我不愿意做的，就不是我做的，而是住在我里面的罪做的。我觉得有个律，就是我愿意行善的时候，就有恶缠着我。

他们既蒙圣灵差遣，就下到西流基，从那里坐船往塞浦路斯去，到了撒拉米，就在犹太人各会堂里宣讲神的道，也有约翰作他们的帮手。他们走遍全岛，直到帕弗，在那里遇见一个术士—犹太人的假先知，名叫巴耶稣。这人常和士求‧保罗省长在一起。士求‧保罗是个通达人，他请巴拿巴和扫罗来，要听神的道。只是术士以吕马（他的名字翻出来就是行法术的意思）敌对使徒，设法使省长远离这信仰。扫罗，又名保罗，被圣灵充满，定睛看他，说：“你这充满各样诡诈奸恶，魔鬼的儿子，一切正义的仇敌，你还不停止扭曲主的正道吗？现在你看，主的手临到你身上，你会瞎眼，暂时看不见日光。”立刻迷蒙和黑暗笼罩着他，他到处摸索，求人拉着手领他。省长看见所发生的事就信了，因对主的教导感到惊奇。

但内中有塞浦路斯和古利奈人，他们到了安提阿也向希腊人传讲主耶稣的福音。

那些日子，门徒增多，有说希腊话的犹太人向希伯来人发怨言，因为在日常的供给上忽略了他们的寡妇。

保罗和巴拿巴跟他们发生了激烈的争执和辩论；大家就决定指派保罗、巴拿巴和本会的几个人，为所辩论的事上耶路撒冷去见使徒和长老。

我们又从那里开船，因为遇到逆风，就贴着塞浦路斯的背风岸航行，

我看万事尽都有限，惟有你的命令极其宽广。

是因他们触怒了他的灵，摩西就用嘴说了急躁的话。
