Some time later Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.”

Some time later Paul spoke to Barnabas.“ Let’s go back to all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord,” he said.“ Let’s visit the believers and see how they are doing.”

And after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

After some time Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are doing.”

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers and sisters in every town where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers and sisters in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”

And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they fare.

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers in every town where we have preached the message of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord,[ and see] how they do.

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord to see how they are doing.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

保羅一行從帕福斯起航，來到潘菲利亞省的佩爾格。約翰馬可卻離開他們，回耶路撒冷去了。他們從佩爾格往前行，來到皮西迪亞地區的安提阿，在安息日那天，就進了會堂坐下。

兩個人知道了，就逃往利考尼亞地區的路司得和代爾貝兩個城以及周圍地區，

這樣，他們兩個人受聖靈的差遣，就下到塞琉西亞，又從那裡坐船前往塞浦路斯島，

兩個人對著他們跺掉腳上的塵土，往以哥念去了。

兩個人經過皮西迪亞地區，來到潘菲利亞省，在佩爾格傳了道，就下到阿塔利亞，

我們日夜迫切祈求，要見你們的面，並且要補全你們在信仰上的缺欠。願神我們的父和我們的主耶穌，親自引導我們的道路到你們那裡去。

有一次在以哥念，保羅和巴拿巴同樣進了猶太人的會堂講道，結果有一大群猶太人和希臘人信了。

保羅和巴拿巴在代爾貝城傳了福音，使許多人成為門徒以後，回到路司得、以哥念、安提阿，

「當他滿四十歲的時候，心裡決定要去探望自己的同胞以色列子民。

每當想起你的淚水，我就切切地想去見你，好讓我的喜樂得以滿足。

我衣不蔽體，你們給我穿；我患了病，你們照顧我；我在監獄裡，你們探望我。』

只是你們行事為人要配得上基督的福音，好讓我無論是來見你們，還是不在你們那裡的時候，都可以聽到有關你們的事，就是你們懷有一個心志站立得穩，同心合意地為福音的信仰一起奮戰；

我在異鄉時，你們沒有收留我；我衣不蔽體，你們沒有給我穿；我患了病、在監獄裡，你們沒有照顧我。』

但是，現在提摩太從你們那裡來到我們這裡，帶來了你們信仰和愛心的好消息，並且說你們總是對我們懷著美好的記憶，切切地想見到我們，就像我們也渴望見到你們那樣。

除了這些外在的事，還有對各教會的掛慮，天天壓在我身上。

因為我切切地想見到你們，好把一些屬靈的恩賜分給你們，使你們得以堅固。

弟兄們，我們被迫暫時與你們分離——身體分離，心卻沒有；我們非常渴望並且更加努力要見你們的面，所以我們想要到你們那裡去。我保羅確實一再地要去，只是撒旦攔阻了我們。
