Some time later Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.”

Some time later Paul spoke to Barnabas.“ Let’s go back to all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord,” he said.“ Let’s visit the believers and see how they are doing.”

And after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us return and visit the brothers in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

After some time Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are doing.”

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers and sisters in every town where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers and sisters in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”

And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they fare.

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s go back and visit the brothers in every town where we have preached the message of the Lord and see how they’re doing.”

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord,[ and see] how they do.

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return and visit the brothers in every town where we proclaimed the word of the Lord to see how they are doing.”

After some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

保罗和同伴从帕弗开船，来到旁非利亚的别加，约翰却离开他们，回耶路撒冷去了。他们从别加往前走，到了彼西底的安提阿，在安息日进了会堂，就坐下来。

两人知道了，就逃往吕高尼的路司得和特庇两城，以及周围的地方，

他们既然奉圣灵差遣，就下到西流基，从那里坐船往塞浦路斯。

两人当众跺掉脚上的尘土，往以哥念去了。

两人经过彼西底，来到旁非利亚，在别加讲道以后，就下到亚大利。

我们昼夜迫切祈求，要见你们的面，并且要补满你们信心的不足。愿我们的父神自己和我们的主耶稣为我们开路，使我们可以到你们那里去。

保罗和巴拿巴在以哥念照样进犹太的会堂讲道，结果一大群犹太人和希腊人都信了。

他们在那城里传福音，使许多人作了门徒，然后回到路司得、以哥念、安提阿，

“到了四十岁，他心中起了一个念头，要去看望自己的同胞以色列人。

一想起你流的眼泪，我就渴望见你，好叫我满有喜乐。

我赤身露体，你们给我衣服穿；我病了，你们看顾我；我在监里，你们来看我。’

不过，你们行事为人（“行事为人”原文也可译作“作公民”）应当和基督的福音相配。这样，无论我来见你们或是不在你们中间，都可以听到你们的情况，就是你们有同一的心志，站立得稳，为了福音的信仰齐心努力，

我作旅客，你们没有接待我；我赤身露体，你们没有给我衣服穿；我病了，我在监里，你们没有看顾我。’

提摩太刚刚从你们那里回来，把你们信心和爱心的好消息带给我们。他还说，你们常常怀念我们，切切想见我们，好像我们想见你们一样。

于是，摩西起程回到他岳父叶忒罗那里，对他说：“请你容我离开这里，回到我在埃及的同胞那里，看看他们是否还在。”叶忒罗对摩西说：“你可以平平安安地去吧。”

除了这些外面的事，还有为各教会挂心的事，天天压在我的身上。

因为我很想见你们，好把一些属灵的恩赐分给你们，使你们可以坚定；

因此，耶和华以色列的神论到牧养他（“他”原文作“我”）子民的牧人这样说：“你们使我的羊群四散，把它们赶走，并没有看顾它们；看哪！我必因你们的恶行惩罚你们。”这是耶和华的宣告。

弟兄们，我们被迫暂时离开你们，不过是身体离开，心却没有离开。我们非常渴望再见到你们。因此，我们很想到你们那里去，我保罗也一再想去，只是撒但阻挡了我们。
