我们就差了犹大和西拉，他们也要亲口诉说这些事。

犹大和西拉也是先知，就用许多话劝勉弟兄，坚固他们。

我略略地写了这信，托我所看为忠心的兄弟西拉转交你们，劝勉你们，又证明这恩是神的真恩。你们务要在这恩上站立得住。

保罗拣选了西拉，也出去，蒙弟兄们把他交于主的恩中。

禁卒叫人拿灯来，就跳进去，战战兢兢地俯伏在保罗、西拉面前；

当时弟兄们便打发保罗往海边去，西拉和提摩太仍住在庇哩亚。

约在半夜，保罗和西拉祷告，唱诗赞美神，众囚犯也侧耳而听。

西拉和提摩太从马其顿来的时候，保罗为道迫切，向犹太人证明耶稣是基督。

于是选举两个人，就是那叫做巴撒巴，又称呼犹士都的约瑟，和马提亚。

使女的主人们见得利的指望没有了，便揪住保罗和西拉，拉他们到市上去见首领；

保罗、西拉、提摩太写信给帖撒罗尼迦、在神我们的父与主耶稣基督里的教会。

他们中间有些人听了劝，就附从保罗和西拉，并有许多虔敬的希腊人，尊贵的妇女也不少。

弟兄们随即在夜间打发保罗和西拉往庇哩亚去。二人到了，就进入犹太人的会堂。

于是写信交付他们，内中说：“使徒和作长老的弟兄们问安提阿、叙利亚、基利家外邦众弟兄的安。

众民知道了就都喜悦。凡王所行的，众民无不喜悦。

使徒在耶路撒冷听见撒玛利亚人领受了神的道，就打发彼得、约翰往他们那里去。

但我们要专心以祈祷、传道为事。”大众都喜悦这话，就拣选了司提反，乃是大有信心、圣灵充满的人，又拣选腓利、伯罗哥罗、尼迦挪、提门、巴米拿，并进犹太教的安提阿人尼哥拉，

王与全会众都以这事为善。

神也感动犹大人，使他们一心遵行王与众首领凭耶和华之言所发的命令。

所以，我们同心定意，拣选几个人，差他们同我们所亲爱的巴拿巴和保罗往你们那里去。

有几个人从犹太下来，教训弟兄们说：“你们若不按摩西的规条受割礼，不能得救。”保罗、巴拿巴与他们大大地纷争辩论；众门徒就定规，叫保罗、巴拿巴和本会中几个人，为所辩论的，上耶路撒冷去见使徒和长老。

这风声传到耶路撒冷教会人的耳中，他们就打发巴拿巴出去，走到安提阿为止。
