此後我將返而復建大衛傾覆之室、其頹圮者、復建而立之、

經云：厥事之後吾當歸、重建大維之殘帷。收拾廢墟築新宅、萬象煥然映朝輝。

Behold, you will conceive in your womb, and give birth to a son, and will call his name‘ Jesus.’He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David,and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever. There will be no end to his Kingdom.”

Once I have sworn by my holiness, I will not lie to David.His offspring will endure forever, his throne like the sun before me.It will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.” Selah.But you have rejected and spurned. You have been angry with your anointed.You have renounced the covenant of your servant. You have defiled his crown in the dust.You have broken down all his hedges. You have brought his strongholds to ruin.All who pass by the way rob him. He has become a reproach to his neighbors.You have exalted the right hand of his adversaries. You have made all of his enemies rejoice.Yes, you turn back the edge of his sword, and haven’t supported him in battle.You have ended his splendor, and thrown his throne down to the ground.You have shortened the days of his youth. You have covered him with shame. Selah.How long, Yahweh? Will you hide yourself forever? Will your wrath burn like fire?Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!What man is he who shall live and not see death, who shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your faithfulness?

When all Israel saw that the king didn’t listen to them, the people answered the king, saying,“ What portion have we in David? We don’t have an inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, Israel! Now see to your own house, David.” So Israel departed to their tents.

and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. I will cause you to rest from all your enemies. Moreover Yahweh tells you that Yahweh will make you a house.When your days are fulfilled, and you sleep with your fathers, I will set up your offspring after you, who will proceed out of your body, and I will establish his kingdom.He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;but my loving kindness will not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you.Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before you. Your throne will be established forever.”’”

For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, on David’s throne, and on his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from that time on, even forever. The zeal of Yahweh of Armies will perform this.

“ The Lord Yahweh says:‘ I will also take some of the lofty top of the cedar, and will plant it. I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it on a high and lofty mountain.I will plant it in the mountain of the height of Israel; and it will produce boughs, and bear fruit, and be a good cedar. Birds of every kind will dwell in the shade of its branches.All the trees of the field will know that I, Yahweh, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree flourish.“‘ I, Yahweh, have spoken and have done it.’”

It will happen, that after I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them. I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

It shall happen that in all the land,” says Yahweh,“ two parts in it will be cut off and die; but the third will be left in it.

But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,“ Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.She shall give birth to a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”Now all this has happened that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,“ Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;” which is, being interpreted,“ God with us.”Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took his wife to himself;and didn’t know her sexually until she had given birth to her firstborn son. He named him Jesus.

“ Don’t consider what this people has spoken, saying,‘ Has Yahweh cast off the two families which he chose?’ Thus they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.”Yahweh says:“ If my covenant of day and night fails, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then I will also cast away the offspring of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his offspring to be rulers over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to be reversed and will have mercy on them.”

and has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David( as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets who have been from of old),
