門徒出去，到處傳揚福音，主和他們同工，藉著相隨的神蹟，證實所傳的道。（有少數抄本有〔較短的結語〕：9“那些婦女把耶穌所吩咐的一切都告訴彼得和他的同伴。10這些事以後，耶穌藉著他們親自把那神聖不朽、永遠救恩的信息從東到西傳揚出去。阿們。”放在第8節之後；另有少數抄本把它放在第20節之後。）

夜裡，主藉著異象對保羅說：“不要怕，只管講，不要閉口！有我與你同在，必定沒有人會攻擊和傷害你，因為在這城裡有許多屬我的人。”保羅在那裡住了一年零六個月，把神的道教導他們。

不過我要在以弗所住到五旬節，因為這裡有又寬大又有果效的門為我開了，同時反對的人也很多。

我們為這些事作證，神賜給順從的人的聖靈也為這些事作證。”

但我並不珍惜自己的性命，只求跑完我的路程，完成我從主耶穌所領受的職分，為神恩惠的福音作見證。

我們從前在腓立比雖然受了苦，又被凌辱，可是靠著我們的神，在強烈的反對之下，仍然放膽向你們述說神的福音，這是你們知道的。

這樣過了兩年，全亞西亞的居民，無論猶太人或希臘人，都聽見了主的道。神藉著保羅的手，行了一些不平凡的神蹟。甚至有人把保羅貼身的手巾圍巾拿去，放在病人身上，病就好了，邪靈也出來了。

主藉著使徒的手，在民間行了許多神蹟奇事。他們都同心聚集在所羅門廊下，其餘的人，沒有一個敢接近他們，可是民眾都很敬重他們。信主的男男女女越來越多，

“以色列人哪，請聽聽這幾句話：正如你們所知道的，神已經藉著拿撒勒人耶穌在你們中間施行了大能、奇事、神蹟，向你們證明他是神所立的。

耶穌對他說：“你們若看不見神蹟奇事，總是不肯信。”
