「你要寫信告訴非拉鐵非教會的天使，那位聖潔、真實、拿著大衛的鑰匙、開了門無人能關、關了門無人能開的主說，『我知道你的行為，你力量微小，卻遵守了我的教導，沒有背棄我的名。所以，看啊！我在你面前為你打開了一扇無人能關閉的門。

大家聽了便安靜下來，轉而歸榮耀給上帝，說：「如此看來，上帝把悔改得永生的機會也賜給了外族人。」

保羅向大家問安之後，便一一述說上帝如何藉著他傳福音給外族人。大家聽了，都同聲讚美上帝，又對保羅說：「弟兄，你知道數以萬計的猶太人信了主，他們都嚴守律法。他們聽見有人說你教導住在外族人中的猶太人背棄摩西的律法，不替孩子行割禮，也不遵守猶太人的規矩。他們一定會聽到你來這裡的消息，這該怎麼辦？

所以，如果你們在聚會中，全體信徒都說方言，偶然有不懂方言的人或非信徒進來，他們豈不會說你們全都瘋了嗎？
