The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.

Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep; O Lord, You preserve man and beast.How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.

To cause it to rain on a land where there is no one, A wilderness in which there is no man;To satisfy the desolate waste, And cause to spring forth the growth of tender grass?Has the rain a father? Or who has begotten the drops of dew?

I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.

Are there any among the idols of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are You not He, O Lord our God? Therefore we will wait for You, Since You have made all these.

The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.

O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—This great and wide sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great.There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there.These all wait for You, That You may give them their food in due season.What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good.

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, Whereby You confirmed Your inheritance, When it was weary.Your congregation dwelt in it; You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor.

I will lay it waste; It shall not be pruned or dug, But there shall come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds That they rain no rain on it.”

Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises on the harp to our God,Who covers the heavens with clouds, Who prepares rain for the earth, Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.

Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.You water its ridges abundantly, You settle its furrows; You make it soft with showers, You bless its growth.You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.They drop on the pastures of the wilderness, And the little hills rejoice on every side.The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing.

The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.There is no speech nor language Where their voice is not heard.Their line has gone out through all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,

And they took strong cities and a rich land, And possessed houses full of all goods, Cisterns already dug, vineyards, olive groves, And fruit trees in abundance. So they ate and were filled and grew fat, And delighted themselves in Your great goodness.

The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season.You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.

For He says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength.
