夫天主之大道、其所可得而知者、早已顯示於人、非有所隱也。蓋自有世以來、天主形而上之神性靈德、實可憑其所造之萬物而辨認洞見也。然則世人亦烏得而推諉乎？

臥而思惡起而行。羞惡之心早淪泯。主之慈愛冲諸天。主之信義薄雲間。主之正直峻於嶽。主之睿斷深於淵。

博愛無私覆。萬物熙春陽。

昔伊理藹虔祈勿雨、而其地不見雨者、三年六月；後復祈求、則天沛然下雨、地亦豐登。彼人也、我亦人也；有志者亦若斯。

俾知追求所天、庶幾冥心索摸、得識真主。實則天主之於人人、近在咫尺；蓋吾人莫不生乎其中、行乎其中、而止乎其中也。爾族之詩人有云：「吁嗟吾族、亦帝之裔；」此之謂也。

巍巍我主。經綸無數。陶鈞萬物。澤被寰宇。相彼滄海。浩蕩無垠。鱗族繁滋。巨細咸陳。以泳以游。載浮載沈。以通舟楫。以憩鱷鯤。凡屬受造。仰主資生。按時給食。自有權衡。彼之所受。莫非主恩。主恩不匱。亦富亦均。

惟愛爾仇人、以德報怨、貸則不望償、斯獲厚報、而得為至尊者之兒女矣。

天地震搖。西乃惶惶。沛然降雨。以潤焦土。聖民家焉。

可不歌大德。鼓瑟復鼓琴。慈雲何靄靄。沛然降甘霖。大地飫芳澤。山丘草木新。既以飼家畜。亦以慰飢禽。

叮嚀斯世富人、不可驕傲；財富無常、未足恃也。所可恃者、惟天主耳。天主慨然以萬物賜予吾人、俾得充量享受者、

庶克成爾天父之子女。蓋天父使旭日上升、兼照良莠；沛然降霖、亦無間乎義與不義也。

四海統一尊。東西咸悅服。聖心眷下土。沛然降甘雨。大地恣沾濡。原壤潤以腴。清川漑田疇。百榖何與與。犁溝悉以盈。欲與犁脊平。時雨信如膏。潤物細無聲。春沐主之澤。秋食主之祿。芳蹤之所過。步步留肥沃。曠野被綠茵。山丘披青衿。

按時賜溫飽。用慰喁喁望。信手行布施。群生慶豐穰。
