立刻在各會堂裏傳揚耶穌，說他是上帝的兒子。

於是他在會堂裏與猶太人和虔敬的人，以及每日在市場上所遇見的人辯論。

同樣的事也發生在以哥念。保羅和巴拿巴進了猶太人的會堂，在那裏講道，所以有很多猶太人和希臘人都信了。

每逢安息日，保羅在會堂裏辯論，勸導猶太人和希臘人。

保羅進會堂，一連三個月放膽講道，辯論上帝國的事，勸導眾人。

約沙法說：「這裏不是有耶和華的先知嗎？我們可以託他求問耶和華。」以色列王的一個大臣回答說：「這裏有沙法的兒子以利沙，就是從前服事以利亞的。」

巴拿巴有意要帶稱為馬可的約翰同去；

以利沙離開他回去，宰了一對牛，用套牛的器具煮肉給百姓吃，隨後就起身跟隨以利亞，服事他。

保羅和西拉經過暗妃坡里、亞波羅尼亞，來到帖撒羅尼迦，在那裏有猶太人的會堂。保羅照他素常的規矩進去，一連三個安息日，根據聖經與他們辯論，講解和說明基督必須受害，從死人中復活；又說：「我所傳給你們的這位耶穌就是基督。」

以利亞害怕，就起來逃命，到了猶大的別是巴，把僕人留在那裏。

但是在你們中間，不可這樣。你們中間誰願為大，就要作你們的用人；

巴拿巴和掃羅完成了供給的事，就回到耶路撒冷，帶着稱為馬可的約翰同去。

摩西和他的助手約書亞站起來；摩西上了上帝的山。

只有路加在我這裏。你來的時候把馬可帶來，因為他在服事上於我有益。
