同样的事也发生在以哥念。保罗和巴拿巴进了犹太人的会堂，在那里讲道，所以有很多犹太人和希腊人都信了。

每逢安息日，保罗在会堂里辩论，劝导犹太人和希腊人。

保罗进会堂，一连三个月放胆讲道，辩论上帝国的事，劝导众人。

约沙法说：“这里不是有耶和华的先知吗？我们可以托他求问耶和华。”以色列王的一个大臣回答说：“这里有沙法的儿子以利沙，就是从前服事以利亚的。”

巴拿巴有意要带称为马可的约翰同去；

以利沙离开他回去，宰了一对牛，用套牛的器具煮肉给百姓吃，随后就起身跟随以利亚，服事他。

保罗和西拉经过暗妃坡里、亚波罗尼亚，来到帖撒罗尼迦，在那里有犹太人的会堂。保罗照他素常的规矩进去，一连三个安息日，根据圣经与他们辩论，讲解和说明基督必须受害，从死人中复活；又说：“我所传给你们的这位耶稣就是基督。”

以利亚害怕，就起来逃命，到了犹大的别是巴，把仆人留在那里。

但是在你们中间，不可这样。你们中间谁愿为大，就要作你们的用人；

巴拿巴和扫罗完成了供给的事，就回到耶路撒冷，带着称为马可的约翰同去。

摩西和他的助手约书亚站起来；摩西上了上帝的山。
