保羅進了會堂，一連三個月，放膽講論，辯論上帝國的事，勸導人相信。

約沙法說：『這裏不是有永恆主的神言人、我們可以托他去尋問永恆主的麼？』以色列王的臣僕中有一個人回答說：『這裏有沙法的兒子以利沙、就是曾經倒水在以利亞手上、去服事以利亞的。

巴拿巴有意思也帶着稱馬可的約翰同行。

以利沙就離開他而回去，取了一對牛來宰，用套牛的器具去煮，將肉給眾民喫；隨後就起身去跟隨以利亞、做他的助手。

保羅西拉旅行過暗妃波里、亞波羅尼亞，來到帖撒羅尼迦，在那裏有猶太人的會堂。保羅照他素常所行的進去，一連三個安息日，根據經典和他們辯論，開講陳明上帝所膏立者必須受害，從死人中復起。又說：『我向你們傳揚的這位耶穌，就是上帝所膏立者。』

以利亞害怕，就起來逃命，到了猶大的別是巴，將僮僕留在那裏。

你們中間並不是這樣：不，你們中間凡想要做大的，就該做你們的僕役；

巴拿巴和掃羅辦完了供應信徒的事，就從耶路撒冷回來，帶着稱馬可的約翰同行。

於是摩西和他的助手約書亞起來，摩西就上了上帝的山。

單單有路加同我在一起。你要把馬可拉來，帶他同你一路來；因為他在服務上於我很有用。

與我一同坐監的亞里達古、和巴拿巴的表弟馬可、給你們問安。論到馬可、你們已經領受了囑咐；他若到了你們那裏，你們要接待他。
