他们离了别加往前行，来到彼西底的安提阿，在安息日进会堂坐下。

每逢安息日，保罗在会堂里辩论，劝化犹太人和希腊人。

保罗进会堂，放胆讲道，一连三个月，辩论神国的事，劝化众人。

约沙法说：“这里不是有耶和华的先知吗？我们可以托他求问耶和华。”以色列王的一个臣子回答说：“这里有沙法的儿子以利沙，就是从前服侍以利亚的。”

巴拿巴有意要带称呼马可的约翰同去；

以利沙就离开他回去，宰了一对牛，用套牛的器具煮肉给民吃，随后就起身跟随以利亚，服侍他。

保罗和西拉经过暗妃波里、亚波罗尼亚，来到帖撒罗尼迦，在那里有犹太人的会堂。保罗照他素常的规矩进去，一连三个安息日，本着圣经与他们辩论，讲解陈明基督必须受害，从死里复活；又说：“我所传与你们的这位耶稣就是基督。”

以利亚见这光景就起来逃命，到了犹大的别是巴，将仆人留在那里，

只是在你们中间，不可这样；你们中间谁愿为大，就必作你们的用人；

巴拿巴和扫罗办完了他们供给的事，就从耶路撒冷回来，带着称呼马可的约翰同去。

摩西和他的帮手约书亚起来，上了神的山。

独有路加在我这里。你来的时候，要把马可带来，因为他在传道的事上于我有益处。

与我一同坐监的亚里达古问你们安。巴拿巴的表弟马可也问你们安。（说到这马可，你们已经受了吩咐；他若到了你们那里，你们就接待他。）
