因为他从创世以前，在基督里拣选了我们，使我们在他面前成为圣洁，没有瑕疵，满有爱心。

他不但替这民族死，还要把上帝四散的儿女都聚集起来，合成一群。

主所爱的弟兄们哪，我们本该常为你们感谢上帝，因为他拣选你们为初熟的果子，使你们因信真道，又蒙圣灵感化成圣，得到拯救。为此，上帝藉着我们所传的福音呼召你们，好得着我们主耶稣基督的荣光。

他们和保罗约定了日子，就有许多人到他的住处来。保罗从早到晚向他们讲解这事，为上帝的国作证，并引摩西的律法和先知的书劝导他们信从耶稣。

我们先上船，起航往亚朔去，想要在那里接保罗；因为他是这样安排的，他自己本来打算要走陆路。

并知道他向我们这些信的人所显的能力是何等浩大，这是照他的大能大力运行的。

弟兄们，你们知道司提法那一家，是亚该亚初结的果子；他们专以服事圣徒为念。

我说：‘主啊，我该做什么？’主说：‘起来，进大马士革去，在那里有人会把指派你做的一切事告诉你。’

那天使对他们说：“不要惧怕！看哪！因为我报给你们大喜的信息，是关乎万民的：因今天在大卫的城里，为你们生了救主，就是主基督。

十一个门徒往加利利去，到了耶稣指定他们去的山上。

在上有权柄的，人人要顺服，因为没有权柄不是来自上帝的。掌权的都是上帝所立的。

我要向你的圣殿下拜，我要因你的慈爱和信实颂扬你的名；因你使你的名和你的言语显为大，超乎一切。

赞美上帝，得全体百姓的喜爱。主将得救的人天天加给他们。

末了，弟兄们，请你们为我们祷告，好让主的道快快传开，得着荣耀，正如在你们中间一样，

众人念了，因为信上鼓励的话而感到欣慰。

那城里，有极大的喜乐。

保罗和巴拿巴跟他们发生了激烈的争执和辩论；大家就决定指派保罗、巴拿巴和本会的几个人，为所辩论的事上耶路撒冷去见使徒和长老。

于是领受他话的人，都受了洗；那一天，门徒约添了三千人。

他们走出会堂的时候，众人请他们在下一个安息日再讲这些话给他们听。
