那又怎麼樣呢？以色列人懇切尋找的，他們沒有得到，蒙揀選的人倒得著了。其餘的人都成了頑固的，

我還有別的羊，不在這羊圈裡；我必須把牠們領來，牠們也要聽我的聲音，並且要合成一群，歸於一個牧人。

只是你們不信，因為你們不是我的羊。我的羊聽我的聲音，我也認識他們，他們也跟隨我。

使外族人因著所蒙的憐憫榮耀神；如經上所記：“因此我要在列邦中稱讚你，歌頌你的名。”又說：“列邦啊，當與他的子民一同快樂。”又說：“萬國啊，你們當讚美主；願萬民都頌讚他。”以賽亞也說：“將來必有耶西的根，就是那興起來治理列邦的；列邦都寄望於他。”

就如創立世界以前，他在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們因著愛，在他面前成為聖潔，沒有瑕疵。

不但替猶太民族死，也要把散居各地的神的兒女招聚成為一體。

主所愛的弟兄們，我們應該常常為你們感謝神，因為他從起初就揀選了你們，藉著聖靈成聖的工作，和你們對真道的信心，使你們可以得救。因此，神藉著我們所傳的福音呼召你們，使你們得著我們主耶穌基督的榮耀。

就在我們因過犯死了的時候，使我們與基督一同活過來，（你們得救是靠著恩典，）又使我們在基督耶穌裡，與他一同復活，一同坐在天上，為的是要在將來的世代中，顯明他在基督耶穌裡賜給我們的恩典，是多麼的豐盛。你們得救是靠著恩典，藉著信心。這不是出於自己，而是神所賜的；這也不是出於行為，免得有人自誇。我們原是神所作成的，是在基督耶穌裡創造的，為的是要我們行各樣的善事，就是神預先所安排的。

因為我自己是在別人的權下，也有兵在我以下；我對這個說：‘去！’他就去；對另一個說：‘來！’他就來；對我的僕人說：‘作這個！’他就作。”

他們和保羅約好了一個日子，到那日有很多人到他的住所來見他。他從早到晚向他們講解，為神的國竭力作見證，引用摩西的律法和先知的話勸他們信耶穌。

我們先上船，開往亞朔，照著保羅的安排，要在那邊接他，因為他自己要走陸路去。

神照著他強大的力量，向我們信他的人顯出的能力，是何等的浩大。

弟兄們，你們知道司提反一家人是亞該亞初結的果子，他們專心地服事聖徒。

我說：‘主啊，我應當作甚麼呢？’主說：‘起來，進大馬士革去，在那裡有人會把指定給你作的一切事告訴你。’

天使說：“不要怕！看哪！我報給你們大喜的信息，是關於萬民的：今天在大衛的城裡，為你們生了救主，就是主基督。

十一個門徒往加利利去，到了耶穌指定的山上。

政府的權柄，人人都應當服從。因為沒有一樣權柄不是從神來的；掌權的都是神設立的。

我要向你的聖殿下拜，我要因你的慈愛和信實稱謝你的名；因為你使你的名和應許顯為大，超過一切（“因為你使你的名和應許顯為大，超過一切”原文作“因為你使你的應許顯為大，超過你的一切名字”）。

又讚美神，並且得到全民的喜愛。主將得救的人，天天加給教會。

最後，弟兄們，請為我們禱告，好叫主的道也像在你們那裡一樣快快傳開，得著榮耀，

眾人讀了，因信上的勸勉，就感到欣慰。

在那城裡，就大有歡樂。

保羅和巴拿巴，與他們大大地爭執辯論起來。大家就派保羅、巴拿巴和他們中間的幾個人，為這個問題上耶路撒冷去見使徒和長老。

於是接受他話的人都受了洗，那一天門徒增加了約三千人。

保羅和巴拿巴出來的時候，眾人請求他們下一個安息日再對他們講這些話。
