主嘗示曰：「我立爾為萬國光、普施救恩於寰宇。」』

For this is what the Lord has commanded us:“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

This is what the Lord has commanded us to do. He said,“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles. You will bring salvation to the whole earth.’ ”( Isaiah 49:6)

For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

For the Lord gave us this command when he said,‘ I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’”

For so the Lord has commanded us,‘ I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles, That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’ ”

For so the Lord has commanded us:‘ I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee for a light of the Gentiles, That thou shouldest be for salvation unto the uttermost part of the earth.

“ I am the LORD. I have called you for a righteous purpose, and I will hold you by your hand. I will watch over you, and I will appoint you to be a covenant for the people and a light to the nations,

a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to your people Israel.

Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is no other.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The LORD of Armies says this:“ Peoples will yet come, the residents of many cities;the residents of one city will go to another, saying: Let’s go at once to plead for the LORD’s favor and to seek the LORD of Armies. I am also going.Many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the LORD of Armies in Jerusalem and to plead for the LORD’s favor.”The LORD of Armies says this:“ In those days, ten men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

Praise the LORD, all nations! Glorify him, all peoples!For his faithful love to us is great; the LORD’s faithfulness endures forever. Hallelujah!

so that your way may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.Let the peoples praise you, God; let all the peoples praise you.Let the nations rejoice and shout for joy, for you judge the peoples with fairness and lead the nations on earth. SelahLet the peoples praise you, God, let all the peoples praise you.The earth has produced its harvest; God, our God, blesses us.God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

The LORD has displayed his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.

Yet the number of the Israelites will be like the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or counted. And in the place where they were told: You are not my people, they will be called: Sons of the living God.

Nations will come to your light, and kings to your shining brightness.

“ This is my servant; I strengthen him, this is my chosen one; I delight in him. I have put my Spirit on him; he will bring justice to the nations.

The LORD has made his victory known; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.He has remembered his love and faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen our God’s victory.

For this is how it will be on earth among the nations: like a harvested olive tree, like a gleaning after a grape harvest.They raise their voices, they sing out; they proclaim in the west the majesty of the LORD.Therefore, in the east honor the LORD! In the coasts and islands of the west honor the name of the LORD, the God of Israel.From the ends of the earth we hear songs: The Splendor of the Righteous One. But I said,“ I waste away! I waste away! Woe is me.” The treacherous act treacherously; the treacherous deal very treacherously.

The past events have indeed happened. Now I declare new events; I announce them to you before they occur.”Sing a new song to the LORD; sing his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea with all that fills it, you coasts and islands with your inhabitants.Let the desert and its cities shout, the settlements where Kedar dwells cry aloud. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing for joy; let them cry out from the mountaintops.Let them give glory to the LORD and declare his praise in the coasts and islands.

The vision that Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s house will be established at the top of the mountains and will be raised above the hills. All nations will stream to it,and many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways so that we may walk in his paths.” For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before you,for kingship belongs to the LORD; he rules the nations.All who prosper on earth will eat and bow down; all those who go down to the dust will kneel before him— even the one who cannot preserve his life.

Sing a new song to the LORD; let the whole earth sing to the LORD.Sing to the LORD, bless his name; proclaim his salvation from day to day.

They will fear the name of the LORD in the west and his glory in the east; for he will come like a rushing stream driven by the wind of the LORD.“ The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those in Jacob who turn from transgression.” This is the LORD’s declaration.

May the righteous flourish in his days and well-being abound until the moon is no more.May he rule from sea to sea and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.

so that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear my name— this is the declaration of the LORD; he will do this.

and many nations will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us about his ways so we may walk in his paths.” For instruction will go out of Zion and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.He will settle disputes among many peoples and provide arbitration for strong nations that are far away. They will beat their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nation will not take up the sword against nation, and they will never again train for war.

“ He said to me,‘ Go, because I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’”

Then he said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for this man is my chosen instrument to take my name to Gentiles, kings, and Israelites.

“ Many nations will join themselves to the LORD on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of Armies has sent me to you.

“ My name will be great among the nations, from the rising of the sun to its setting. Incense and pure offerings will be presented in my name in every place because my name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD of Armies.

Simeon has reported how God first intervened to take from the Gentiles a people for his name.And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it is written:After these things I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. I will rebuild its ruins and set it up again,

For I will then restore pure speech to the peoples so that all of them may call on the name of the LORD and serve him with a single purpose.From beyond the rivers of Cush my supplicants, my dispersed people, will bring an offering to me.

and repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Then the remnant of Jacob will be among many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for anyone or linger for mankind.

that the Messiah would suffer, and that, as the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light to our people and to the Gentiles.”

I will rescue you from your people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to themto open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

LORD, my strength and my stronghold, my refuge in a time of distress, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and they will say,“ Our ancestors inherited only lies, worthless idols of no benefit at all.”
