Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said,“ It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you repudiate it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly:“ We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said:“ It was necessary that God’s message be spoken to you first. But since you reject it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles!

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously,“ It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said,“ It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Therefore, let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen.”

but continually proclaimed to those in Damascus first, and in Jerusalem, and then all the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they are to repent and turn to God, performing deeds consistent with repentance.

God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.”

Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruit.

And He said to me,‘ Go! For I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”

Behold, you will call a nation you do not know, And a nation which does not know you will run to you, Because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.”

but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who does what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul began devoting himself completely to the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.But when they resisted and blasphemed, he shook out his garments and said to them,“ Your blood is on your own heads! I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

“ Brothers, sons of Abraham’s family, and those among you who fear God, to us the message of this salvation has been sent.

But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they? First Moses says,“ I will make you jealous with those who are not a nation, With a foolish nation I will anger you.”And Isaiah is very bold and says,“ I was found by those who did not seek Me, I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”But as for Israel, He says,“ I have spread out My hands all day long to a disobedient and obstinate people.”

But He said to him,“ A man was giving a big dinner, and he invited many;and at the dinner hour he sent his slave to tell those who had been invited,‘ Come, because everything is ready now.’And yet they all alike began to make excuses. The first one said to him,‘ I purchased a field and I need to go out to look at it; please consider me excused.’And another one said,‘ I bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please consider me excused.’And another one said,‘ I took a woman as my wife, and for that reason I cannot come.’And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave,‘ Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here those who are poor, those with disabilities, those who are blind, and those who are limping.’And later the slave said,‘ Master, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’And the master said to the slave,‘ Go out into the roads and the hedges and press upon them to come in, so that my house will be filled.For I tell you, none of those men who were invited shall taste my dinner.’ ”

He came to His own, and His own people did not accept Him.

and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? Far from it! But by their wrongdoing salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous.Now if their wrongdoing proves to be riches for the world, and their failure, riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be!But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Therefore insofar as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry

“ You men who are stiff necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears are always resisting the Holy Spirit; you are doing just as your fathers did.

who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons and daughters, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the Law, the temple service, and the promises;whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

and the rest seized his slaves and treated them abusively, and then killed them.Now the king was angry, and he sent his armies and destroyed those murderers and set their city on fire.Then he* said to his slaves,‘ The wedding feast is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.So go to the main roads, and invite whomever you find there to the wedding feast.’Those slaves went out into the streets and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good; and the wedding hall was filled with dinner guests.

And now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant it to Your bond servants to speak Your word with all confidence,while You extend Your hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of Your holy servant Jesus.”And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

They have made Me jealous with what is not God; They have provoked Me to anger with their idols. So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation,

The wicked flee when no one is pursuing, But the righteous are bold as a lion.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ I have seen this people, and behold, they are an obstinate people.So now leave Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation.”

and that most of the brothers and sisters, trusting in the Lord because of my imprisonment, have far more courage to speak the word of God without fear.

but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

If the house is worthy, see that your blessing of peace comes upon it. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace.And whoever does not receive you nor listen to your words, as you leave that house or city, shake the dust off your feet.Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment, than for that city.

And now says the Lord, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him( For I am honored in the sight of the Lord, And My God is My strength),He says,“ It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the protected ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”This is what the Lord, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, Says to the despised One, To the One abhorred by the nation, To the Servant of rulers:“ Kings will see and arise, Princes will also bow down, Because of the Lord who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”This is what the Lord says:“ At a favorable time I answered You, And on a day of salvation I helped You; And I will watch over You and make You a covenant of the people, To restore the land, to give as inheritances the deserted hereditary lands;

But going on from Perga, they arrived at Pisidian Antioch, and on the Sabbath day they went into the synagogue and sat down.

You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews.

quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

When they reached Salamis, they began to proclaim the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews; and they also had John as their helper.

Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus.

and pray in my behalf, that speech may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
