And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly:“ We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said:“ It was necessary that God’s message be spoken to you first. But since you reject it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles!

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously,“ It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.

Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said,“ It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Be it known therefore unto you, that this salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles: they will also hear.

but declared both to them of Damascus first, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judæa, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee forth far hence unto the Gentiles.

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not; and a nation that knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

but glory and honor and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek:

But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was constrained by the word, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.And when they opposed themselves and blasphemed, he shook out his raiment and said unto them, Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you that fear God, to us is the word of this salvation sent forth.

But I say, Did Israel not know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, With a nation void of understanding will I anger you.And Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I became manifest unto them that asked not of me.But as to Israel he saith, All the day long did I spread out my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

But he said unto him, A certain man made a great supper; and he bade many:and he sent forth his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a field, and I must needs go out and see it; I pray thee have me excused.And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them; I pray thee have me excused.And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.And the servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor and maimed and blind and lame.And the servant said, Lord, what thou didst command is done, and yet there is room.And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and constrain them to come in, that my house may be filled.For I say unto you, that none of those men that were bidden shall taste of my supper.

He came unto his own, and they that were his own received him not.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

I say then, Did they stumble that they might fall? God forbid: but by their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?But I speak to you that are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit: as your fathers did, so do ye.

who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;whose are the fathers, and of whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.But the king was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy.Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast.And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.

And now, Lord, look upon their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants to speak thy word with all boldness,while thou stretchest forth thy hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of thy holy Servant Jesus.And when they had prayed, the place was shaken wherein they were gathered together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; They have provoked me to anger with their vanities: And I will move them to jealousy with those that are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion.

And Jehovah said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

and that most of the brethren in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word of God without fear.

but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet.Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

And now saith Jehovah that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, and that Israel be gathered unto him( for I am honorable in the eyes of Jehovah, and my God is become my strength);yea, he saith, It is too light a thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.Thus saith Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of Jehovah that is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who hath chosen thee.Thus saith Jehovah, In an acceptable time have I answered thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee; and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;

But they, passing through from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia; and they went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, waxed mighty in war, turned to flight armies of aliens.

And when they were at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John as their attendant.

Now when they beheld the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

and on my behalf, that utterance may be given unto me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel,for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
