他们见你们不再与他们同奔那纵情放荡的路，就觉得奇怪，毁谤你们。

可是有些人心里刚硬，不受劝化，在群众面前毁谤这道，保罗就离开他们，也叫门徒与他们分开。他每天在推喇奴学院跟人辩论。

阻挠我们向外族人传道，不让他们得救，以致恶贯满盈。神的忿怒终必临到他们身上。

圣经说：“神爱他那安置在我们里面的灵，爱到嫉妒的地步”（或译：“神安置在我们里面的灵，爱到嫉妒的地步”），你们想这话是徒然的吗？

当时有几个称为“自由人”会堂的人，就是从古利奈和亚历山太来的人，另外还有基利家人和亚西亚人，他们出面与司提反辩论，但司提反靠着圣灵和智慧说话，他们就抵挡不住。

因为你们仍然是属肉体的。在你们当中既然有嫉妒纷争，你们不还是属肉体，照着世人的方式而行吗？

这些人充满了各样的不义、邪恶、贪心、阴险；满怀嫉妒、凶杀、好斗、欺诈、幸灾乐祸；又是好说谗言的、

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们在人面前关了天国的门，自己不进去，连正要进去的人，你们也不准他们进去。﹙有些抄本有第

我看见各样的劳碌和各样精巧的工作，都是出于人与人彼此的竞争。这也是虚空，也是捕风。

“那时，大儿子正在田里。他回来离家不远的时候，听见音乐跳舞的声音，就叫了一个仆人来，问他这是怎么一回事。仆人说：‘你弟弟回来了，你父亲因为他平安无恙地回来，就宰了肥牛犊。’大儿子就生气，不肯进去；父亲出来劝他。他对父亲说：‘你看，我服事你这么多年，从来没有违背过你的命令，可是你没有给我一只山羊羔，叫我和朋友一同欢乐。但你这个儿子，常常跟娼妓在一起，花尽了你的财产，他一回来，你倒为他宰杀肥牛犊！’

但犹太人嫉妒起来，招聚了一些市井流氓，纠合成群，骚动全城，冲进了耶孙的家，搜索保罗和西拉，要把他们交给民众。

如果你们心中存着刻薄的嫉妒和自私，就不可夸口，也不可说谎抵挡真理。这种智慧不是从天上来的，而是属地的、属血气的和属鬼魔的。因为凡有嫉妒和自私的地方，就必有扰乱和各样的坏事。

耶和华啊！你的手高举，他们还是看不见。愿他们因看见你对子民的热心而惭愧；愿那为你的敌人预备的火吞灭他们。

他哥哥们都嫉妒他，他父亲却把这事记在心里。

摩西对他说：“你为我的缘故嫉妒吗？但愿耶和华的人民都是先知，但愿耶和华把他的灵降在他们身上。”

嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴，和类似的事。我从前早就告诉过你们，现在又事先告诉你们：行这些事的人，必定不能承受神的国。

他知道他们是因为嫉妒才把耶稣交了来。
