“ Fellow children of Abraham and you God- fearing Gentiles, it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent.

Brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you that fear God, to us is the word of this salvation sent forth.

“ Brothers, sons of Abraham’s race, and those among you who fear God, the message of this salvation has been sent to us.

Men[ and] brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

Brothers, descendants of Abraham’s family, and those Gentiles among you who fear God, the message of this salvation has been sent to us.

Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”

For I am ready to set things right, not in the distant future, but right now! I am ready to save Jerusalem and show my glory to Israel.

He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of his servant David,

After the usual readings from the books of Moses and the prophets, those in charge of the service sent them this message:“ Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, come and give it.”So Paul stood, lifted his hand to quiet them, and started speaking.“ Men of Israel,” he said,“ and you God fearing Gentiles, listen to me.“ The God of this nation of Israel chose our ancestors and made them multiply and grow strong during their stay in Egypt. Then with a powerful arm he led them out of their slavery.

You will tell his people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins.

which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News.

Don’t just say to each other,‘ We’re safe, for we are descendants of Abraham.’ That means nothing, for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones.

but only to the people of Israel— God’s lost sheep.

He has revealed his words to Jacob, his decrees and regulations to Israel.He has not done this for any other nation; they do not know his regulations. Praise the Lord!

In every nation he accepts those who fear him and do what is right.

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes— the Jew first and also the Gentile.

And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.

It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem:‘ There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’

“ Go to the Temple and give the people this message of life!”

Many Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, and the two men urged them to continue to rely on the grace of God.

Then Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and declared,“ It was necessary that we first preach the word of God to you Jews. But since you have rejected it and judged yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we will offer it to the Gentiles.

We speak for Christ when we plead,“ Come back to God!”For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting,“ These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”

“ Listen to me, all who hope for deliverance— all who seek the Lord! Consider the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined.Yes, think about Abraham, your ancestor, and Sarah, who gave birth to your nation. Abraham was only one man when I called him. But when I blessed him, he became a great nation.”

When God raised up his servant, Jesus, he sent him first to you people of Israel, to bless you by turning each of you back from your sinful ways.”

So I want you to know that this salvation from God has also been offered to the Gentiles, and they will accept it.”

O our God, did you not drive out those who lived in this land when your people Israel arrived? And did you not give this land forever to the descendants of your friend Abraham?

“ But as for you, Israel my servant, Jacob my chosen one, descended from Abraham my friend,
