你们看，剩下来的这些国家，连同我剪除的列国，从约旦河起，直到日落之处的大海，我都按着你们各支派，用抽签的方式，分给你们作产业了。

你们过了约旦河，来到耶利哥；耶利哥的居民与你们作战，还有亚摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人，也跟你们作战；我把他们都交在你们手里。

“你要按着人名数目把地分配给他们作产业。人数多的，你要把产业多分给他们；人数少的，你要把产业少分给他们；要按着数点的人数，把产业分给各家族。虽然这样，地还是要藉着抽签分配；他们要按着自己父家支派的名字，承受产业。你要按着所抽的签，照着人数的多少，把产业分配给他们。”

于是他们的子孙进去，获得那地；你使那地的迦南居民向他们屈服，又把迦南众王和那地的各民族，都交在以色列人手里，以色列人可以随意对待他们。

约书亚就在示罗，在耶和华面前为他们抽签；约书亚在那里按着他们的支派把地分给以色列人。

就是亚摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩，和迦南列国的王。

我要把你现在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，赐给你和你的后裔，作永远的产业，我也要作他们的神。”
