弟兄們，我略略寫信給你們，望你們聽我勸勉的話。

耶穌來到拿撒勒，就是他長大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的規矩進了會堂，站起來要念聖經。有人把先知以賽亞的書交給他，他就打開，找到一處寫着說：主的靈在我身上，因為他用膏膏我，叫我傳福音給貧窮的人；差遣我報告：被擄的得釋放，瞎眼的得看見，叫那受壓制的得自由，

耶路撒冷居住的人和他們的官長，因為不認識基督，也不明白每安息日所讀眾先知的書，就把基督定了死罪，正應了先知的預言；

管會堂的基利司布和全家都信了主，還有許多哥林多人聽了，就相信受洗。

眾人便揪住管會堂的所提尼，在堂前打他。這些事迦流都不管。

他們就都被聖靈充滿，按着聖靈所賜的口才說起別國的話來。

律法和先知到約翰為止，從此神國的福音傳開了，人人努力要進去。

「諸位父兄請聽，我現在對你們分訴。」

「弟兄們！先祖大衛的事，我可以明明地對你們說：他死了，也葬埋了，並且他的墳墓直到今日還在我們這裏。

說：「弟兄們！聖靈藉大衛的口，在聖經上預言領人捉拿耶穌的猶大，這話是必須應驗的。

但作先知講道的，是對人說，要造就、安慰、勸勉人。

眾人聽見這話，覺得扎心，就對彼得和其餘的使徒說：「弟兄們，我們當怎樣行？」

或作勸化的，就當專一勸化；施捨的，就當誠實；治理的，就當殷勤；憐憫人的，就當甘心。

辯論已經多了，彼得就起來，說：「諸位弟兄，你們知道神早已在你們中間揀選了我，叫外邦人從我口中得聽福音之道，而且相信。

走遍了那一帶地方，用許多話勸勉門徒，然後來到希臘。

司提反說：「諸位父兄請聽！當日我們的祖宗亞伯拉罕在美索不達米亞還未住哈蘭的時候，榮耀的神向他顯現，
