弟兄们，我略略写信给你们，望你们听我劝勉的话。

耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他平常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。有人把先知以赛亚的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着说：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我报告：被掳的得释放，瞎眼的得看见，叫那受压制的得自由，

耶路撒冷居住的人和他们的官长，因为不认识基督，也不明白每安息日所读众先知的书，就把基督定了死罪，正应了先知的预言；

管会堂的基利司布和全家都信了主，还有许多哥林多人听了，就相信受洗。

众人便揪住管会堂的所提尼，在堂前打他。这些事迦流都不管。

他们就都被圣灵充满，按着圣灵所赐的口才说起别国的话来。

律法和先知到约翰为止，从此神国的福音传开了，人人努力要进去。

“诸位父兄请听，我现在对你们分诉。”

“弟兄们！先祖大卫的事，我可以明明地对你们说：他死了，也埋葬了，并且他的坟墓直到今日还在我们这里。

说：“弟兄们！圣灵藉大卫的口，在圣经上预言领人捉拿耶稣的犹大，这话是必须应验的。

但作先知讲道的，是对人说，要造就、安慰、劝勉人。

众人听见这话，觉得扎心，就对彼得和其余的使徒说：“弟兄们，我们当怎样行？”

或作劝化的，就当专一劝化；施舍的，就当诚实；治理的，就当殷勤；怜悯人的，就当甘心。

辩论已经多了，彼得就起来，说：“诸位弟兄，你们知道神早已在你们中间拣选了我，叫外邦人从我口中得听福音之道，而且相信。

走遍了那一带地方，用许多话劝勉门徒，然后来到希腊。

司提反说：“诸位父兄请听！当日我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕在美索不达米亚还未住哈兰的时候，荣耀的神向他显现，
