After the usual readings from the books of Moses and the prophets, those in charge of the service sent them this message:“ Brothers, if you have any word of encouragement for the people, come and give it.”

因为自古以来，在各城里都有人宣讲摩西，每逢安息日在各会堂里都有人诵读他的书。”

这时候，来了一个名叫睚鲁的会堂主管。他一见到耶稣，就俯伏在耶稣脚前，

弟兄们，我恳求你们容忍我这劝勉的话，因为我只是简略地写信给你们。

耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日那天，他照自己的习惯进了会堂，站起来要诵读经文。有人就把先知以赛亚的书递给他。他展开书卷，找到一处，那里写道：“主的灵在我身上，因为他膏立我去向贫穷的人传福音，他差派我去宣告：被掳的得释放，瞎眼的得看见，让受欺压的得自由，

实际上，住在耶路撒冷的人和他们的首领们都不认识这一位，也不明白每逢安息日所诵读的先知们的话，就把他定罪，从而应验了这些话。

会堂主管克里斯普和他全家都信了主，还有许多哥林多人听了以后就信了，并且受了洗。

大家都抓住会堂主管索提尼，在审判台前殴打他。但伽利奥一概不管这些事。

于是他们都被圣灵充满，就照着圣灵赐给他们的话，开始说出别种语言。

“律法和先知到约翰为止，从此神国的福音被传扬，人人都在努力争取进入它。

“各位父老兄弟，现在请听我的申辩。”

“各位兄弟，关于先祖大卫，我可以明确地告诉你们：他不但死了，也被埋葬了，而且他的坟墓到今天还在我们这里。

“各位弟兄，那段经文是必须应验的，就是圣灵藉着大卫的口所预言有关犹大的事。这犹大，领人抓了耶稣；

可是那做先知传道的是对人说，为要造就、鼓励和安慰人。

众人听了这话，觉得扎心，就对彼得和其他的使徒说：“各位兄弟，我们该做什么呢？”

如果是劝勉的，就用在劝勉上；分享的，要慷慨；带领的，要殷勤；怜悯人的，要甘心乐意。

经过了许多辩论，彼得站起来对他们说：“各位弟兄，你们知道前些时候神在你们中间施行拣选，要外邦人藉着我的口听到福音之道，得以相信。

他走遍了那些地区，用很多的话鼓励门徒们，就来到希腊，

司提反说：“各位父老兄弟，请听！我们的先祖亚伯拉罕住哈兰以前，还在美索不达米亚的时候，荣耀的神向他显现，
