今主之手加諸爾、爾必瞽、暫不見日、巫之目即矇而暗、徧求人援引之、

今主譴爾、爾必瞽、暫不見日、巫目即矇而暗、遍求人相之、

今主手擊爾、爾必瞽、暫不見日、其目立矇而暗、遍求人導之行、

主今爾譴、暫且使爾失明、不見天日！』其目立盲、暗中摸索、乞為牽引。

Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.” Immediately mist and darkness came over him, and he groped about, seeking someone to lead him by the hand.

黑夜白日，你的手在我身上沉重；我的精液耗盡，如同夏天的乾旱。（細拉）

耶和華的手加在你田間的牲畜上，就是在馬、驢、駱駝、牛羣、羊羣上，必有重重的瘟疫。

於是打發人去請非利士的眾首領來，說：「願你們將以色列神的約櫃送回原處，免得害了我們和我們的眾民！」原來神的手重重攻擊那城，城中的人有因驚慌而死的；

我朋友啊，可憐我！可憐我！因為神的手攻擊我。

耶和華的手重重加在亞實突人身上，敗壞他們，使他們生痔瘡。亞實突和亞實突的四境都是如此。亞實突人見這光景，就說：「以色列神的約櫃不可留在我們這裏，因為他的手重重加在我們和我們神大袞的身上」；

並且使門外的人，無論老少，眼都昏迷；他們摸來摸去，總尋不着房門。

求你把你的責罰從我身上免去；因你手的責打，我便消滅。你因人的罪惡懲罰他的時候，叫他的笑容消滅，如衣被蟲所咬。世人真是虛幻！（細拉）

這是怎麼樣呢？以色列人所求的，他們沒有得着。惟有蒙揀選的人得着了；其餘的就成了頑梗不化的。如經上所記：神給他們昏迷的心，眼睛不能看見，耳朵不能聽見，直到今日。大衛也說：願他們的筵席變為網羅，變為機檻，變為絆腳石，作他們的報應。願他們的眼睛昏矇，不得看見；願你時常彎下他們的腰。

因為耶和華將沉睡的靈澆灌你們，封閉你們的眼，蒙蓋你們的頭。你們的眼就是先知；你們的頭就是先見。

亞拿尼亞就去了，進入那家，把手按在掃羅身上，說：「兄弟掃羅，在你來的路上向你顯現的主，就是耶穌，打發我來，叫你能看見，又被聖靈充滿。」

耶穌說：「我為審判到這世上來，叫不能看見的，可以看見；能看見的，反瞎了眼。」

運到之後，耶和華的手攻擊那城，使那城的人大大驚慌，無論大小都生痔瘡。

亞蘭王與以色列人爭戰，和他的臣僕商議說：「我要在某處某處安營。」

弟兄們，我不願意你們不知道這奧祕（恐怕你們自以為聰明），就是以色列人有幾分是硬心的，等到外邦人的數目添滿了，

因為，你的箭射入我身；你的手壓住我。

掃羅從地上起來，睜開眼睛，竟不能看見甚麼。有人拉他的手，領他進了大馬士革；三日不能看見，也不吃也不喝。

落在永生神的手裏，真是可怕的！

這些人是無水的井，是狂風催逼的霧氣，有墨黑的幽暗為他們存留。
