應當一無掛慮，只要凡事藉着禱告、祈求，和感謝，將你們所要的告訴神。神所賜出人意外的平安必在基督耶穌裏保守你們的心懷意念。

所以我們可以放膽說：主是幫助我的，我必不懼怕；人能把我怎麼樣呢？

堅心倚賴你的，你必保守他十分平安，因為他倚靠你。你們當倚靠耶和華直到永遠，因為耶和華是永久的磐石。

亞伯拉罕給那地方起名叫「耶和華以勒」，直到今日人還說：「在耶和華的山上必有預備。」

看守的人就因他嚇得渾身亂戰，甚至和死人一樣。

我躺下睡覺，我醒着，耶和華都保佑我。雖有成萬的百姓來周圍攻擊我，我也不怕。

（我為這福音的奧祕作了帶鎖鍊的使者，）並使我照着當盡的本分放膽講論。

掃羅在山這邊走，大衛和跟隨他的人在山那邊走。大衛急忙躲避掃羅；因為掃羅和跟隨他的人，四面圍住大衛和跟隨他的人，要拿獲他們。忽有使者來報告掃羅說：「非利士人犯境搶掠，請王快快回去！」

因此，我請你們來見面說話，我原為以色列人所指望的，被這鍊子捆鎖。」

我必安然躺下睡覺，因為獨有你－耶和華使我安然居住。

「我們看見監牢關得極妥當，看守的人也站在門外；及至開了門，裏面一個人都不見。」

現在我解開你手上的鍊子，你若看與我同往巴比倫去好，就可以去，我必厚待你；你若看與我同往巴比倫去不好，就不必去。看哪，全地在你面前，你以為哪裏美好，哪裏合宜，只管上那裏去吧！」

我說，我必將他們分散遠方，使他們的名號從人間除滅。
