Meanwhile, the word of God continued to spread, and there were many new believers.

於是天主之道日興而益廣、

於是天主之道日昌、傳布益廣。

But the word of God continued to spread and flourish.

But God’s word continued to spread and many people believed the message.

But the word of God increased and multiplied.

But the word of God spread and multiplied.

But the word of the Lord continued to grow and to be multiplied.

But the word of God grew and multiplied.

But the word of God grew and multiplied.

Then God’s message flourished and multiplied.

But the word of God grew and multiplied.

But the word of God kept on increasing and multiplying.

But the word of God grew and multiplied.

So God’s message continued to spread. The number of believers greatly increased in Jerusalem, and many of the Jewish priests were converted, too.

So the message about the Lord spread widely and had a powerful effect.

You will be secure under a government that is just and fair. Your enemies will stay far away. You will live in peace, and terror will not come near.If any nation comes to fight you, it is not because I sent them. Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat.“ I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals beneath the forge and makes the weapons of destruction. And I have created the armies that destroy.But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!

“ During the reigns of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered. It will crush all these kingdoms into nothingness, and it will stand forever.

Now I say to you that you are Peter( which means‘ rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.

But if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God!”

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.“ See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing.You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Those who attack you will come to nothing.For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you,‘ Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.

The power of the Lord was with them, and a large number of these Gentiles believed and turned to the Lord.

Then Daniel went in to see Arioch, whom the king had ordered to execute the wise men of Babylon. Daniel said to him,“ Don’t kill the wise men. Take me to the king, and I will tell him the meaning of his dream.”

“ The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.

When the wicked take charge, people go into hiding. When the wicked meet disaster, the godly flourish.

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you.
