But God’s word continued to spread and many people believed the message.

But the word of God increased and multiplied.

Meanwhile, the word of God continued to spread, and there were many new believers.

Then God’s message flourished and multiplied.

So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.

In righteousness you will be established: Tyranny will be far from you; you will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you.If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.“ See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc;no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.

“ In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world— just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.

But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.“ All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.

The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.

Then Daniel went to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to execute the wise men of Babylon, and said to him,“ Do not execute the wise men of Babylon. Take me to the king, and I will interpret his dream for him.”

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

When the wicked rise to power, people go into hiding; but when the wicked perish, the righteous thrive.

As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.
