But I said,‘ By no means, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

But I said,‘ Not so, Lord! For nothing common or unclean has at any time entered my mouth.’

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath ever entered into my mouth.

“‘ No, Lord!’ I said.‘ For nothing common or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth!’

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

But I said,‘ Certainly not, Lord, for nothing defiled or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth!’

But I said,‘ Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.’

I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean.

You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.’”

They will not remain in the Lord’s land; Ephraim will return to Egypt and eat unclean food in Assyria.

By their detestable practices they have filled it with their impurity from one end to the other.Therefore, do not give your daughters in marriage to their sons or take their daughters for your sons. Do not seek a treaty of friendship with them at any time, that you may be strong and eat the good things of the land and leave it to your children as an everlasting inheritance.’
