But I said,‘ By no means, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

我說：『主啊，絕對不可！凡污俗或不潔淨的東西從來沒有進過我的口。』

我說：『主啊，絕對不可！凡污俗或不潔淨的東西從來沒有進過我的口。』

我說，『主啊，這可不行！我從未吃過任何污穢不潔之物！』

我說：‘主啊，千萬不可，因為俗物或不潔的東西，從來沒有進過我的口。’

我說：「主啊，千萬不可！因為俗污或不潔淨之物、從來就沒有進過我的口。」

我說：『主啊，千萬不可！因為俗物或不潔淨的東西，從來沒有入過我的口。』

我曰、主、不然、俗物及不潔者、未嘗入我口也、

余曰、主、不可、俗物不潔、余未嘗入口、

我曰、主、斷乎不可、凡俗物及不潔之物、從未入我口、

予曰：「主、不可、俗物不潔、予未嘗入口也。」

“ I replied,‘ Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

“ I replied,‘ No, Lord! I will not! Nothing that is not pure and“ clean” has ever entered my mouth.’

But I said,‘ By no means, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

“‘ No, Lord,’ I replied.‘ I have never eaten anything that our Jewish laws have declared impure or unclean.’

“‘ No, Lord!’ I said.‘ For nothing impure or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth.’

But I said,‘ Not so, Lord! For nothing common or unclean has at any time entered my mouth.’

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath ever entered into my mouth.

“‘ No, Lord!’ I said.‘ For nothing common or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth!’

But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

But I said,‘ Certainly not, Lord, for nothing defiled or ritually unclean has ever entered my mouth!’

But I said,‘ Not so, Lord, for nothing unholy or unclean has ever entered into my mouth.’

I know and am convinced in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself; but to the one who thinks something is unclean, to that person it is unclean.

and saw that some of His disciples were eating their bread with unholy hands, that is, unwashed.

to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the edible creature and the creature which is not to be eaten.

They will not remain in the Lord’s land, But Ephraim will return to Egypt, And in Assyria they will eat unclean food.

and to make a distinction between the holy and the profane, and between the unclean and the clean,

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified through her believing husband; for otherwise your children are unclean, but now they are holy.
