The disciples, as each one was able, decided to provide help for the brothers and sisters living in Judea.

The believers decided to provide help for the brothers and sisters living in Judea. All of them helped as much as they could.

So the disciples determined, everyone according to his ability, to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.

So the believers in Antioch decided to send relief to the brothers and sisters in Judea, everyone giving as much as they could.

Each of the disciples, according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brothers and sisters who lived in Judea.

And to the extent that any of the disciples had means, each of them determined to send a contribution for the relief of the brothers and sisters living in Judea.

And the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren that dwelt in Judæa:

that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality.For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

According to their ability, they gave to the treasury for the work sixty-one thousand gold drachmas, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priestly garments.

And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said,“ I will never leave you nor forsake you.”So we may boldly say:“ The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

And I said to them,“ According to our ability we have redeemed our Jewish brethren who were sold to the nations. Now indeed, will you even sell your brethren? Or should they be sold to us?” Then they were silenced and found nothing to say.

“ And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things.But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.“ Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.

They desired only that we should remember the poor, the very thing which I also was eager to do.

Now concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you;for I know your willingness, about which I boast of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has stirred up the majority.

Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

But now I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.For it pleased those from Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are in Jerusalem.It pleased them indeed, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in material things.

Cast your bread upon the waters, For you will find it after many days.Give a serving to seven, and also to eight, For you do not know what evil will be on the earth.

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also:On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.

Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.

Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold,

does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;

Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
