爾小子、如爾心睿智、我心悅懌。

許我尊榮景福、不為斯世惡俗所囿、於上帝之性情、是則是傚、故當黽勉、有信宜有德、有德宜有智、有智宜有節、有節宜有忍、有忍宜有虔、有虔宜有弟、有弟宜有仁、有此而擴充之、則知主耶穌基督道、而自不怠不荒、無此則盲於心、視不及遠、其受潔去舊罪、皆忘之矣、

恆從爾上帝耶和華、如爾所行自昔迄今。

但以理立志、不以王之糈糧酒醴、破其戒、求宦官長為之辭、

耶穌見其信己、謂癱瘋者曰、小子、爾罪赦矣、

乃語猶太之信者曰、爾存我道、誠我徒也、爾將識真理、而真理必釋爾、○

保羅為兄弟所薦、托上帝恩乃選西拉與之偕往、

我有斯意、豈浮而不實乎、豈狥私有今是後非乎、

爾試余心、中宵鑒斯、煉余若金、不可議斯、心與口應、靡不符斯。

良朋知此、當謹慎、勿為惡所迷、而所守弗固、務得恩賜有加、深知吾救主耶穌基督道、願榮光歸之、垂諸後世、

遣我兄弟提摩太、即上帝僕、與我同勞、傳基督福音、俾爾堅定、為爾信生而慰爾、勿為患難所動、爾知分定故也、我素偕爾、預語我儕必受難、後果如是、此爾所知、放我不能忍、遣人欲知爾之信主、恐試者惑爾、而我徒勞、

在吾父上帝前、每念爾信主而行、仁愛而勞、望吾主耶穌基督而恆忍、凡諸兄弟、乃上帝所愛、吾知為上帝所選、

兄弟乎、我賴耶穌血、得毅然入至聖所、基督身猶幔、撤之、則為我闢永生之新路、我得大祭司、理上帝宮、則當意誠信篤洗心去惡、潔身去垢、而至上帝前、上帝許我、言出惟行、故我當守道、懷望不移、爾我當相顧、黽勉勿怠、行仁為善、有人不集於會所、爾勿效之、當相勸誡、見乃日伊邇、益宜如是、倘吾儕識真理後、故背教、無復贖罪之祭、

當憶曩曰、爾明道之始、屢忍患難、譬之戰爭、或已受詬誶艱辛、人視若優伶、或友受苦、爾與共之、蓋我在縲絏、爾體恤之、人奪爾業、爾喜受之、自知在天有愈美恆存之業、勿灰爾毅然之心、則可得大賚、爾必恆忍遵上帝命、以得所許之福、主來不濡滯、其至在須臾、義人以信得生、如背道者、吾不悅之、然吾儕惟信主以得救、非若背道者、至於沉淪、

兄弟乎、今我薦爾於上帝、俾爾蒙恩受道、其克建爾、賜爾有業於聖徒中、
