且由是錫以寶貴豐厚之許、俾爾得脫在世因慾之敗壞、克與夫上帝之性、緣此、爾當殷勤、於信益德、於德益智、於智益節、於節益忍、於忍益虔、於虔益友愛、於友愛益仁慈、爾有此而擴充之、則必使爾於識我主耶穌基督、不怠不荒、無此者則盲、僅視所近、已忘舊罪之潔、

惟親近爾上帝耶和華、如素所為、

惟但以理立志、不以王膳與酒自污、遂求宦官長免其受污、

耶穌見其信、謂癱瘓者曰、小子歟、爾罪赦矣、

遂謂信己之猶太人曰、爾若恆於我道、則誠我徒也、爾將識真理、而真理將釋爾、

我斯意豈輕躁乎、我所擬豈狥情而有是是非非乎、

愛友乎、既預知之、則宜謹慎、免為惡者之謬所誘、失爾堅也、惟宜增益於恩、及識夫我主救者耶穌基督、願榮歸之、自今以至永世、阿們、

遣我兄弟提摩太、於基督福音為上帝役者、以堅爾曹、為爾之信而慰爾、俾無人為諸苦所搖、蓋爾自知分定於此也、我偕爾時、預告我儕將受難、後果如是、爾所知也、緣此、我不能復忍、遣人欲知爾信、恐為試者所惑、而我徒勞、

於我父上帝前、恆念爾以信而行、以愛而勞、以望我主耶穌基督而忍、上帝所愛之兄弟、我知爾蒙選矣、

兄弟乎、我儕既賴耶穌之血、毅然而入聖所、由彼為我儕所闢新且生之路、經乎幔、即其形軀也、且既有大祭司宰上帝家、則宜以誠心篤信而進、心被灑以除是非之謬誤、身亦為清水所滌、持守所承之望而不移、蓋許之者誠信也、宜彼此顧恤、激勵於仁愛善行、勿輟會集、如彼輟之者、惟相勸勉、見乃日愈近而愈切、○我儕既識真理、而故干罪、則無復有贖罪之祭、

爾當憶曩日蒙光照後、所忍諸難之大戰、或受詬誶艱辛、為人之戲劇、或人受此苦而己與之、蓋人在縲絏、爾體恤之、人奪爾業、爾喜聽之、因知有愈美恆存之業也、故勿去爾果毅、蓋有大賞焉、爾須忍、致爾既行上帝旨、則得其所許、蓋曰、尚有須臾、則來者必來、決不稽遲、惟我義者、必由信而生、若其退縮、我心不悅之、然我儕非屬退縮而致淪亡者、乃屬信而致靈之得救者也、

今我薦爾於上帝、及其恩道、能建立爾、賜爾有業於凡成聖者之中、
