When Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party criticized him,

彼得一回到耶路撒冷，严守割礼的门徒就指责他：

可是当彼得上到耶路撒冷的时候，那些割礼派的人却批评他，

及至彼得上了耶路撒冷，那些奉割禮的門徒和他爭辯說：

惟伯鐸祿至耶路撒冷時割禮中人指責之曰：

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him

Peter went up to Jerusalem. There the Jewish believers found fault with him.

So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcision party criticized him, saying,

But when Peter arrived back in Jerusalem, the Jewish believers criticized him.

And when Peter came up to Jerusalem, the Jewish believers took issue with him,

When Peter went up to Jerusalem, those who stressed circumcision argued with him,

The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.

When they heard it, they glorified God and said,“ You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law.But they have been informed about you— that you are teaching all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to abandon Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or to live according to our customs.So what is to be done? They will certainly hear that you’ve come.Therefore do what we tell you: We have four men who have made a vow.

Some men came down from Judea and began to teach the brothers,“ Unless you are circumcised according to the custom prescribed by Moses, you cannot be saved.”

The next day, as they were traveling and nearing the city, Peter went up to pray on the roof about noon.

But some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said,“ It is necessary to circumcise them and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

For he regularly ate with the Gentiles before certain men came from James. However, when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, because he feared those from the circumcision party.Then the rest of the Jews joined his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they were deviating from the truth of the gospel, I told Cephas in front of everyone,“ If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel Gentiles to live like Jews?”
