God gave them the same gift he gave those of us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. So who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

神既然把同样的恩赐（“恩赐”或译：“恩赏”）给他们，像给我们这些信了主耶稣基督的人一样，我是谁，我能够阻止神吗？”

因此，神如果给了他们这相同的恩赐，就像在我们信靠主耶稣基督的时候也给了我们一样，那么，我是谁呢？难道能拦阻神吗？”

神既然給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣；我是誰，能攔阻神呢？」

既然上帝給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣，我是誰，能攔阻上帝嗎？」

既然神給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣，我是誰，能攔阻神嗎？」

既然上帝給他們恩賜，就如我們信主耶穌基督時給我們一樣，我是誰，怎能攔阻上帝？」

這樣，上帝既然將相同之白白的恩給了他們，像我們信服主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣，我是誰，能攔阻上帝麼？』

因此，神如果給了他們這相同的恩賜，就像在我們信靠主耶穌基督的時候也給了我們一樣，那麼，我是誰呢？難道能攔阻神嗎？」

夫上帝既以恩賜予之、一如我儕在信主耶穌基督之時、我何人斯、能阻上帝耶、

是上帝賜異邦人、無異於賜我信主耶穌基督者、則我何人斯、能阻上帝耶、

天主既賜異邦人、與賜我儕信耶穌基督者無異、我何人、能阻天主乎、

夫天主既賜以靈賦、與吾儕信主耶穌基督時無異、予何人斯、能阻天主。』

So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

If then God gave the same gift to them as he gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

And since God gave these Gentiles the same gift he gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to stand in God’s way?”

If, then, God gave them the same gift that he also gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, how could I possibly hinder God?”

Therefore, if God gave them the same gift as He also gave to us after believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could stand in God’s way?”

If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?”

If then God gave unto them the like gift as he did also unto us, when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God?

Therefore, if God gave them the same gift that He also gave to us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, how could I possibly hinder God?”

Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as[ he did] unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

“ Surely no one can keep these people from being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.”

If he takes something, who can stop him? Who would dare to ask him,‘ What are you doing?’God doesn’t hold back his anger. Even the helpers of the sea monster Rahab bowed in fear at his feet.“ So how can I disagree with God? How can I possibly argue with him?

Why do you claim that God never answers anybody’s questions?

God knows the human heart. By giving the Holy Spirit to the Gentiles, he showed that he accepted them. He did the same for them as he had done for us.God showed that there is no difference between us and them. That’s because he made their hearts pure because of their faith.

But you are a mere human being. So who are you to talk back to God? Scripture says,“ Can what is made say to the one who made it,‘ Why did you make me like this?’ ”( Isaiah 29:16; 45:9)Isn’t the potter free to make different kinds of pots out of the same lump of clay? Some are for special purposes. Others are for ordinary use.What if God chose to show his great anger? What if he chose to make his power known? But he put up with the people he was angry with. They were made to be destroyed.What if he put up with them to show the riches of his glory to other people? Those other people are the ones he shows his mercy to. He made them to receive his glory.We are those people. He has chosen us. We do not come only from the Jewish race. Many of us are not Jews.God says in Hosea,“ I will call those who are not my people‘ my people.’ I will call the one who is not my loved one‘ my loved one.’ ”( Hosea 2:23)He also says,“ Once it was said to them,‘ You are not my people.’ In that very place they will be called‘ children of the living God.’ ”( Hosea 1:10)

Take your money and go. I want to give the one I hired last the same pay I gave you.Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Do you feel cheated because I gave so freely to the others?’

“ I am the Mighty One. Will the man who argues with me correct me? Let him who brings charges against me answer me!”

“ Who can ever know what the Lord is thinking? Or who can ever give him advice?”( Isaiah 40:13)“ Has anyone ever given anything to God, so that God has to pay them back?”( Job 41:11)All things come from him. All things are directed by him. All things are for his praise. May God be given the glory forever! Amen.

“ As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them. He came just as he had come on us at the beginning.

But if their plans come from God, you won’t be able to stop these men. You will only find yourselves fighting against God.”

“ Would you dare to claim that I am not being fair? Would you judge me in order to make yourself seem right?Is your arm as powerful as mine is? Can your voice thunder as mine does?

Some Jewish believers had come with Peter. They were amazed because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.

He considers all the nations on earth to be nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven. He does what he wants with the nations of the earth. No one can hold back his hand. No one can say to him,“ What have you done?”

He said to Moses,“ I will have mercy on whom I have mercy. I will show love to those I love.”( Exodus 33:19)So it doesn’t depend on what people want or what they do. It depends on God’s mercy.
