If, then, God gave them the same gift that he also gave to us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, how could I possibly hinder God?”

神既然把同样的恩赐（“恩赐”或译：“恩赏”）给他们，像给我们这些信了主耶稣基督的人一样，我是谁，我能够阻止神吗？”

因此，神如果给了他们这相同的恩赐，就像在我们信靠主耶稣基督的时候也给了我们一样，那么，我是谁呢？难道能拦阻神吗？”

神既然給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣；我是誰，能攔阻神呢？」

既然上帝給他們恩賜，像在我們信主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣，我是誰，能攔阻上帝嗎？」

這樣，上帝既然將相同之白白的恩給了他們，像我們信服主耶穌基督的時候給了我們一樣，我是誰，能攔阻上帝麼？』

因此，神如果給了他們這相同的恩賜，就像在我們信靠主耶穌基督的時候也給了我們一樣，那麼，我是誰呢？難道能攔阻神嗎？」

夫上帝既以恩賜予之、一如我儕在信主耶穌基督之時、我何人斯、能阻上帝耶、

是上帝賜異邦人、無異於賜我信主耶穌基督者、則我何人斯、能阻上帝耶、

天主既賜異邦人、與賜我儕信耶穌基督者無異、我何人、能阻天主乎、

夫天主既賜以靈賦、與吾儕信主耶穌基督時無異、予何人斯、能阻天主。』

So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

Why do you take him to court for not answering anything a person asks?

And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as he also did to us.He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

On the contrary, who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? Will what is formed say to the one who formed it,“ Why did you make me like this?”Or has the potter no right over the clay, to make from the same lump one piece of pottery for honor and another for dishonor?And what if God, wanting to display his wrath and to make his power known, endured with much patience objects of wrath prepared for destruction?And what if he did this to make known the riches of his glory on objects of mercy that he prepared beforehand for glory—on us, the ones he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?As it also says in Hosea, I will call Not My People, My People, and she who is Unloved, Beloved.And it will be in the place where they were told, you are not my people, there they will be called sons of the living God.

Take what’s yours and go. I want to give this last man the same as I gave you.Don’t I have the right to do what I want with what is mine? Are you jealous because I’m generous?’

Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let him who argues with God give an answer.

For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?And who has ever given to God, that he should be repaid?For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.

Would you really challenge my justice? Would you declare me guilty to justify yourself?Do you have an arm like God’s? Can you thunder with a voice like his?

For he tells Moses, I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.So then, it does not depend on human will or effort but on God who shows mercy.
