我即憶主言、約翰固以水施洗、惟爾曹將受洗於聖神也、

Then I remembered what the Lord had said:‘ John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Then I remembered the Lord’s words.‘ John baptized with water,’ he had said.‘ But you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said,‘ John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

Then I thought of the Lord’s words when he said,‘ John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

蓋約翰施洗以水、惟爾受洗於聖神不遠矣、

我以水施洗、而彼將以聖神施洗爾也、○

爾曹信後、曾受聖神否、曰、聖神降否、我未之聞也、曰然則爾受誰之洗、曰、約翰、保羅曰、約翰施悔改之洗、謂民當信後至者耶穌基督也、

約翰謂眾曰、我以水施洗爾、惟有勝我者來、解其履帶、我亦不堪、彼將以聖神及火施洗爾、

惟保惠師、即聖神、父緣我名而遣之者、將以眾理示爾使憶我所言耳、

我將訓迪爾、我將以我神賦爾、爾其受教。

夫我以水施洗、俾爾悔改、但後我來者、更勝於我、其履我亦不堪提、彼將以聖神及火施洗爾、

吾眾不論猶太希利尼、為奴不為奴、皆洗於一神、飲於一神、悉合一身焉、

我通水泉、以溉原田、我濬江河、以潤槁壤、我以我神、賦爾子孫、式綏祉福。彼將繁衍、如澤中之草、溪濱之柳、有曰、我崇事耶和華、有曰、我屬雅各家、有曰、我為耶和華僕、黥手為證、有曰、我為以色列族赤子、稱名為據。

吾以此後書、達爾良朋、使爾善心奮發、

末日、我將以我神賦萬人、俾爾子女、言未來事、幼者見異象、老者兆於夢、

我以是告爾、時至、可憶吾言、昔不告爾者、以我偕爾也、

當斯時也、山出甘醴、嶺流乳酪、猶大百川、水流不息、維彼泉源、湧於我殿、灌溉矢亭之谷、

以清水灑爾、使爾為潔、凡拜偶像行淫穢之事、均滌除焉。

約翰曰、我以水施洗、有立爾中者、爾不識之、

我凡事示爾、當如是勞苦、以扶持柔弱者、且憶我主耶穌言、與人者、較受於人者、有福矣、○

婦憶所言、

我不識之、惟遣我以水施洗者、語我曰、爾觀聖神降而止其上、即以聖神施洗者、

其所以救我者、非由我有義行、乃由主矜恤、以更生盥濯我、以聖神復新我、上帝念吾救主耶穌基督、厚賜聖神、
