Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, And the fruitful field is counted as a forest.

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, Nor a lawgiver from between his feet, Until Shiloh comes; And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

Then Peter opened his mouth and said:“ In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ— He is Lord of all—that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached:how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.

“ Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

The Lord will be awesome to them, For He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People shall worship Him, Each one from his place, Indeed all the shores of the nations.

The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.

Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth.Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.Give to the Lord, O families of the peoples, Give to the Lord glory and strength.Give to the Lord the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come into His courts.Oh, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.Say among the nations,“ The Lord reigns; The world also is firmly established, It shall not be moved; He shall judge the peoples righteously.”

O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say,“ Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”

Indeed He says,‘ It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Peoples shall yet come, Inhabitants of many cities;The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying,“ Let us continue to go and pray before the Lord, And seek the Lord of hosts. I myself will go also.”Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the Lord.’“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying,“ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”

The Lord has made bare His holy arm In the eyes of all the nations; And all the ends of the earth shall see The salvation of our God.

The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, Even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, The excellency of our God.

“ And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”

“ I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles,

“ On that day I will raise up The tabernacle of David, which has fallen down, And repair its damages; I will raise up its ruins, And rebuild it as in the days of old;That they may possess the remnant of Edom, And all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” Says the Lord who does this thing.

For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My name shall be great among the Gentiles; In every place incense shall be offered to My name, And a pure offering; For My name shall be great among the nations,” Says the Lord of hosts.

“ Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.

Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them,who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit.

The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name.

Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people,‘ You are My people!’ And they shall say,‘ You are my God!’”

“ For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him with one accord.

And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”

And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.
