彼得就请他们进去，住了一宿。次日，起身和他们同去，还有约帕的几个弟兄同着他去；

彼得说：“你们各人要悔改，奉耶稣基督的名受洗，叫你们的罪得赦，就必领受所赐的圣灵；

所以你们应当记念：你们从前按肉体是外邦人，是称为没受割礼的；这名原是那些凭人手在肉身上称为受割礼之人所起的。

我们这生来的犹太人，不是外邦的罪人；

我一开讲，圣灵便降在他们身上，正像当初降在我们身上一样。我就想起主的话说：‘约翰是用水施洗，但你们要受圣灵的洗。’神既然给他们恩赐，像在我们信主耶稣基督的时候给了我们一样；我是谁，能拦阻神呢？”众人听见这话，就不言语了，只归荣耀与神，说：“这样看来，神也赐恩给外邦人，叫他们悔改得生命了。”

你们从前在过犯和未受割礼的肉体中死了，神赦免了你们一切过犯，便叫你们与基督一同活过来；又涂抹了在律例上所写、攻击我们、有碍于我们的字据，把它撤去，钉在十字架上。

基督既为我们受了咒诅，就赎出我们脱离律法的咒诅；因为经上记着：“凡挂在木头上都是被咒诅的。”这便叫亚伯拉罕的福，因基督耶稣可以临到外邦人，使我们因信得着所应许的圣灵。

他既被神的右手高举，又从父受了所应许的圣灵，就把你们所看见所听见的，浇灌下来。

这奥秘在以前的世代没有叫人知道，像如今藉着圣灵启示他的圣使徒和先知一样。这奥秘就是外邦人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音，得以同为后嗣，同为一体，同蒙应许。我作了这福音的执事，是照神的恩赐，这恩赐是照他运行的大能赐给我的。我本来比众圣徒中最小的还小，然而他还赐我这恩典，叫我把基督那测不透的丰富传给外邦人，

“你进入未受割礼之人的家和他们一同吃饭了。”
