所有陪彼得一起来的割礼派的信徒，看见所赐的圣灵也被倾注在外邦人身上，都十分惊讶，

所有陪彼得一起來的割禮派的信徒，看見所賜的聖靈也被傾注在外邦人身上，都十分驚訝，

彼得就请他们进来，招待了他们。第二天，他起身与他们一同去，还有一些约帕的弟兄陪他一起去。

彼得对他们说：“你们应当悔改，每个人都当奉耶稣基督的名受洗，使你们的罪得赦免，就会领受所赐的圣灵。

所以你们当记住：从前，你们照着肉体说是外邦人，被那些所谓“受割礼的”称为“没受割礼的”；割礼是人手在肉体上所行的。

我们生来是犹太人，不是“外邦中的罪人”，

我一开始讲话，圣灵就降临在他们身上，就像当初降临在我们身上一样。我就想起了主如此说的话，‘约翰用水施洗，但你们将要受圣灵的洗。’因此，神如果给了他们这相同的恩赐，就像在我们信靠主耶稣基督的时候也给了我们一样，那么，我是谁呢？难道能拦阻神吗？”他们听了这些话就安静下来，然后就荣耀神，说：“这样，神把悔改的心也赐给外邦人，使他们得生命。”

你们从前在自己的过犯和没有受割礼的肉体中是死的，神却使你们与基督一同活过来了。神已经赦免了我们的一切过犯，抹去了在敌对我们的那些规条中反对我们的债务记录，并且把它从中除掉，钉在十字架上。

基督替我们成了诅咒，从律法的诅咒中救赎了我们，因为经上记着：“凡是被挂在木头上的，都是被诅咒的。”这是为了让亚伯拉罕所蒙的祝福，能在基督耶稣里临到外邦人，好使我们能藉着信领受所应许的圣灵。

他被高举在神的右边，从父领受了所应许的圣灵，就将圣灵倾注了下来。这正是你们现在所看见所听见的。

这奥秘在别的各世代并不显明给人类，不像如今藉着圣灵启示给了他的圣使徒和先知们。这奥秘就是：外邦人在基督耶稣里，藉着福音，成为共同的继承人，同属一体、同蒙应许。我成了这福音的仆人，是照着神恩典的赏赐；这赏赐是照着他大能的作为赐给我的。我在所有圣徒中，比最小的还小，但被赐予了这恩典，是为了把基督那无法测度的丰盛传给外邦人；

说：“你竟然进到没有受割礼之人的家里，又与他们一起吃饭。”
