那些奉割礼、和彼得同来的信徒，见圣灵的恩赐也浇在外邦人身上，就都希奇；

那些奉割礼的信徒和彼得同来，见圣灵的恩赐也浇在外邦人身上，就都惊奇；

所有陪彼得一起来的割礼派的信徒，看见所赐的圣灵也被倾注在外邦人身上，都十分惊讶，

那些奉割禮、和彼得同來的信徒，見聖靈的恩賜也澆在外邦人身上，就都希奇；

與伯鐸祿偕來之信徒、割禮中人也；見聖神之恩賜、亦傾注於異邦人之身、殊為詫異、

彼得就留他們住了一夜。第二天，彼得和他們以及幾個約帕的弟兄一同出發了。

彼得說：「你們每一個人都要悔改，奉耶穌基督的名受洗，使你們的罪得到赦免，你們就必領受上帝所賜的聖靈。

因此，你們要記住，從前按照肉體來說你們是外族人，那些肉體上受過人手所行割禮的以色列人稱你們為「沒有受過割禮的」。

我們生來是猶太人，不是外族罪人，

「我開口講話時，聖靈降在他們身上，跟當初降在我們身上的情形一模一樣。我就想起主的話，『約翰用水施洗，但你們要受聖靈的洗禮。』既然上帝給他們恩賜，就如我們信主耶穌基督時給我們一樣，我是誰，怎能攔阻上帝？」大家聽了便安靜下來，轉而歸榮耀給上帝，說：「如此看來，上帝把悔改得永生的機會也賜給了外族人。」

你們從前死在過犯和未被割除的罪惡本性中，但現在上帝卻使你們與基督一同活了過來。上帝赦免了我們一切的過犯，撤銷了指控我們違背律法的罪狀，將它和基督一同釘在了十字架上，

但基督替我們受了咒詛，從而救贖我們脫離了律法的咒詛，因為聖經上說：「凡掛在木頭上的人都是受咒詛的。」這樣，賜給亞伯拉罕的祝福可以藉著基督耶穌臨到外族人，使我們也可以藉著信得到上帝應許賜給我們的聖靈。

現在祂升到上帝的右邊，從天父領受了所應許的聖靈，並將聖靈澆灌下來，你們今天也耳聞目睹了。

自古以來，上帝沒有讓人知道這奧祕，如今祂藉著聖靈將這奧祕啟示給祂的聖使徒和先知。這奧祕就是外族人能夠在基督耶穌裡藉著福音與以色列人同作後嗣，同為一體，同享應許。上帝運用大能賜給我恩典，叫我成為這福音的使者。我本來比最卑微的聖徒還卑微，卻蒙上帝賜我這恩典，讓我把基督那測不透的豐富傳給外族人，

「你竟然去未受割禮之人的家，還和他們一同吃飯！」
