Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.You are witnesses of these things.

Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, including those who pierced Him. And all the families of the earth will mourn over Him. This is certain. Amen.

“ Look! I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me to repay each person according to what he has done.

Then I saw a great white throne and One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.Then the sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works.Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.“ I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come out— those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Then He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

There is reserved for me in the future the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved His appearing.

until the day He was taken up, after He had given orders through the Holy Spirit to the apostles He had chosen.

“ Go and stand in the temple complex, and tell the people all about this life.”

But Peter and the apostles replied,“ We must obey God rather than men.The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you had murdered by hanging Him on a tree.God exalted this man to His right hand as ruler and Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

“ When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on the left.Then the King will say to those on His right,‘ Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.’“ Then the righteous will answer Him,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You?When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You?’“ And the King will answer them,‘ I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’Then He will also say to those on the left,‘ Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels!For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink;I was a stranger and you didn’t take Me in; I was naked and you didn’t clothe Me, sick and in prison and you didn’t take care of Me.’“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?’“ Then He will answer them,‘ I assure you: Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me either.’“ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;for we are unable to stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus,“ Lord— what about him?”“ If I want him to remain until I come,” Jesus answered,“ what is that to you? As for you, follow Me.”
