but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.

But on the third day God raised him from the dead. God allowed Jesus to be seen.

Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say,“ There is no resurrection of the dead”?If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised;and if Christ has not been raised, then our proclamation is in vain, and so is your faith.Moreover, we are found to be false witnesses about God, because we have testified wrongly about God that he raised up Christ— whom he did not raise up, if in fact the dead are not raised.For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised.And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.Those, then, who have fallen asleep in Christ have also perished.If we have put our hope in Christ for this life only, we should be pitied more than anyone.But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

But God raised him from the dead,and he appeared for many days to those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses to the people.

After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to view the tomb.There was a violent earthquake, because an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and approached the tomb. He rolled back the stone and was sitting on it.

and was appointed to be the powerful Son of God according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection of the dead.

For we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you.

Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through his Spirit who lives in you.

Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be in the likeness of his resurrection.For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be rendered powerless so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin,since a person who has died is freed from sin.Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him,because we know that Christ, having been raised from the dead, will not die again. Death no longer rules over him.For the death he died, he died to sin once for all time; but the life he lives, he lives to God.So, you too consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
