你們就是這些事的見證人。

不是顯現給全體民眾，而是顯現給神預先選定的見證人，就是我們這些在他從死人中復活以後，與他一起吃、一起喝的人。

不過聖靈臨到你們的時候，你們將得著能力，並且要在耶路撒冷，在猶太和撒馬利亞全地，直到地極，做我的見證人。」

「這位耶穌，神已經使他復活了。我們都是這事的見證人。

實際上，住在耶路撒冷的人和他們的首領們都不認識這一位，也不明白每逢安息日所誦讀的先知們的話，就把他定罪，從而應驗了這些話。他們雖然找不到處死他的任何理由，還是求彼拉多殺了他。當他們做完了經上所記載的一切有關耶穌的事，有些人就把他從木頭上取下來，安放在墓穴裡。

就是照著從起初以來的目擊者和做福音僕人的那些人所傳給我們的，

那麼，你們大家和所有以色列子民應當知道：這個人健全地站在你們面前，是藉著拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名。這位耶穌基督，你們把他釘上十字架，但是神使他從死人中復活了！

這一位照著神設定的計劃和先見被交出去；你們就藉著外邦人的手，把他釘上十字架殺了。神卻解除了死亡的痛苦，使他復活，因為他本來就不能被死亡轄制。

你們拒絕了神聖、公義的那一位，而要求釋放一個殺人犯給你們。你們殺害了生命的創始者，神卻使他從死人中復活了！我們就是這事的見證人。

你們掛在木頭上殺害的耶穌，我們祖先的神已經使他復活了。神把這一位高舉在自己右邊做元首、做救主，為了將悔改的心賜給以色列，使罪得赦免。我們就是這些事的見證人。神所賜給那些順從他之人的聖靈也一同做見證。」

一連好幾天，他向那些與他一起從加利利上到耶路撒冷的人顯現；這些人如今在民間做了他的見證人，

基督替我們成了詛咒，從律法的詛咒中救贖了我們，因為經上記著：「凡是被掛在木頭上的，都是被詛咒的。」

他在木頭上，以自己的身體親自擔當了我們的罪孽，好使我們既然向罪而死，就能向義而活；因他受的鞭傷，你們得了痊癒。

有哪一位先知，你們的祖先不逼迫呢？他們殺了那些預言那義者要來的先知，現在你們又成為那義者的出賣者和凶手了。

並且你們也要做見證，因為你們從一開始就與我在一起。
