你们就是这些事的见证人。

不是显现给全体民众，而是显现给神预先选定的见证人，就是我们这些在他从死人中复活以后，与他一起吃、一起喝的人。

不过圣灵临到你们的时候，你们将得着能力，并且要在耶路撒冷，在犹太和撒马利亚全地，直到地极，做我的见证人。”

“这位耶稣，神已经使他复活了。我们都是这事的见证人。

实际上，住在耶路撒冷的人和他们的首领们都不认识这一位，也不明白每逢安息日所诵读的先知们的话，就把他定罪，从而应验了这些话。他们虽然找不到处死他的任何理由，还是求彼拉多杀了他。当他们做完了经上所记载的一切有关耶稣的事，有些人就把他从木头上取下来，安放在墓穴里。

就是照着从起初以来的目击者和做福音仆人的那些人所传给我们的，

那么，你们大家和所有以色列子民应当知道：这个人健全地站在你们面前，是藉着拿撒勒人耶稣基督的名。这位耶稣基督，你们把他钉上十字架，但是神使他从死人中复活了！

这一位照着神设定的计划和先见被交出去；你们就藉着外邦人的手，把他钉上十字架杀了。神却解除了死亡的痛苦，使他复活，因为他本来就不能被死亡辖制。

你们拒绝了神圣、公义的那一位，而要求释放一个杀人犯给你们。你们杀害了生命的创始者，神却使他从死人中复活了！我们就是这事的见证人。

你们挂在木头上杀害的耶稣，我们祖先的神已经使他复活了。神把这一位高举在自己右边做元首、做救主，为了将悔改的心赐给以色列，使罪得赦免。我们就是这些事的见证人。神所赐给那些顺从他之人的圣灵也一同做见证。”

一连好几天，他向那些与他一起从加利利上到耶路撒冷的人显现；这些人如今在民间做了他的见证人，

基督替我们成了诅咒，从律法的诅咒中救赎了我们，因为经上记着：“凡是被挂在木头上的，都是被诅咒的。”

他在木头上，以自己的身体亲自担当了我们的罪孽，好使我们既然向罪而死，就能向义而活；因他受的鞭伤，你们得了痊愈。

有哪一位先知，你们的祖先不逼迫呢？他们杀了那些预言那义者要来的先知，现在你们又成为那义者的出卖者和凶手了。

并且你们也要做见证，因为你们从一开始就与我在一起。
