「你們是這些事的見證人，

不是向所有的人顯現，而是向被上帝預先揀選為祂做見證的人顯現，就是我們這些在祂復活以後與祂一同吃喝過的人。

但聖靈降臨在你們身上後，你們必得到能力，在耶路撒冷、猶太全境和撒瑪利亞，直到地極，作我的見證人。」

上帝已經使這位耶穌復活了！我們都是這件事的見證人。

可是耶路撒冷的人和他們的官長不知道耶穌是基督，雖然每個安息日都誦讀先知的信息，卻把基督判死罪。這正應驗了先知們的話。他們雖然找不到判祂死罪的理由，卻強求彼拉多將祂處死。祂受死的記載全部應驗之後，有人把祂從十字架上取下來，安放在石墓裡。

那麼，你們和所有以色列人都應當知道，他能健康地站在你們面前，全是靠拿撒勒人耶穌基督的名！你們把祂釘在十字架上，但上帝使祂從死裡復活了。

上帝照著自己的計劃和預知把耶穌交在你們手裡，你們藉著邪惡之人的手把祂釘死在十字架上了。但上帝為祂解除了死亡的痛苦，使祂從死裡復活，因為祂不可能被死亡拘禁。

你們棄絕了那聖潔公義者，竟然要求彼拉多釋放一個兇手。你們殺了生命之主，上帝卻使祂從死裡復活了。我們都是這事的見證人。

你們釘死在十字架上的耶穌，我們祖先的上帝已經使祂復活了。上帝把祂提升到自己的右邊，立祂為君王和救主，好賜給以色列人悔改的機會，使他們的罪得到赦免。我們就是這些事的見證人，上帝賜給順服祂之人的聖靈也同樣做見證。」

之後有許多天，那些從加利利跟隨祂上耶路撒冷的人都看見過祂，他們如今在百姓中都是祂的見證人。

但基督替我們受了咒詛，從而救贖我們脫離了律法的咒詛，因為聖經上說：「凡掛在木頭上的人都是受咒詛的。」

祂被釘在十字架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們向著罪死了，可以過公義的生活。因祂所受的鞭傷，你們得到了醫治。

哪一位先知沒有被你們祖先迫害？那些預言義者——彌賽亞要來的人也被你們的祖先殺害。如今你們竟出賣了那位公義者，殺害了祂！

你們也要為我做見證，因為你們從開始就與我在一起。
