Then Jesus came up and said to them,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”

They will make war with the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those accompanying the Lamb are the called, chosen, and faithful.”

For he has put everything in subjection under his feet. But when it says“ everything” has been put in subjection, it is clear that this does not include the one who put everything in subjection to him.

He has a name written on his clothing and on his thigh:“ King of kings and Lord of lords.”

who went into heaven and is at the right hand of God with angels and authorities and powers subject to him.

All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son decides to reveal him.

And all these things are from God who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and who has given us the ministry of reconciliation.In other words, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting people’s trespasses against them, and he has given us the message of reconciliation.Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making his plea through us. We plead with you on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God!”God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

and through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross– through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham,‘ And in your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.’God raised up his servant and sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your iniquities.”

Your throne, O God, is permanent. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of justice.

“ I am about to send my messenger, who will clear the way before me. Indeed, the Lord you are seeking will suddenly come to his temple, and the messenger of the covenant, whom you long for, is certainly coming,” says the LORD who rules over all.

O God, grant the king the ability to make just decisions! Grant the king’s son the ability to make fair decisions!Then he will judge your people fairly, and your oppressed ones equitably.The mountains will bring news of peace to the people, and the hills will announce justice.

Tell me! Present the evidence! Let them consult with one another! Who predicted this in the past? Who announced it beforehand? Was it not I, the LORD? I have no peer, there is no God but me, a God who vindicates and delivers; there is none but me.Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.I solemnly make this oath– what I say is true and reliable:‘ Surely every knee will bow to me, every tongue will solemnly affirm;they will say about me,“ Yes, the LORD is a powerful deliverer.”’” All who are angry at him will cower before him.All the descendants of Israel will be vindicated by the LORD and will boast in him.

The first man is from the earth, made of dust; the second man is from heaven.

The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority.The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath remains on him.

But when he again brings his firstborn into the world, he says,“ Let all the angels of God worship him!”And he says of the angels,“ He makes his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire,”but of the Son he says,“ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, and a righteous scepter is the scepter of your kingdom.You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. So God, your God, has anointed you over your companions with the oil of rejoicing.”And,“ You founded the earth in the beginning, Lord, and the heavens are the works of your hands.They will perish, but you continue. And they will all grow old like a garment,and like a robe you will fold them up and like a garment they will be changed, but you are the same and your years will never run out.”

And we proclaim to you the good news about the promise to our ancestors,

and the one who lives! I was dead, but look, now I am alive– forever and ever– and I hold the keys of death and of Hades!

But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For he is our peace, the one who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility,when he nullified in his flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace,and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed.And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near,so that through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,

To him also Abraham apportioned a tithe of everything. His name first means king of righteousness, then king of Salem, that is, king of peace.Without father, without mother, without genealogy, he has neither beginning of days nor end of life but is like the son of God, and he remains a priest for all time.

During his days the godly will flourish; peace will prevail as long as the moon remains in the sky.

Certainly his loyal followers will soon experience his deliverance; then his splendor will again appear in our land.Loyal love and faithfulness meet; deliverance and peace greet each other with a kiss.

in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world.

“ I, the LORD, promise that a new time will certainly come when I will raise up for them a righteous branch, a descendant of David. He will rule over them with wisdom and understanding and will do what is just and right in the land.Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by:‘ The LORD has provided us with justice.’

Peter said to them,“ Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him– all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers– all things were created through him and for him.He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things.

Go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Look up, you gates! Rise up, you eternal doors! Then the majestic king will enter!Who is this majestic king? The LORD who is strong and mighty! The LORD who is mighty in battle!Look up, you gates! I am the one who gives them reason to celebrate. Complete prosperity is available both to those who are far away and those who are nearby,” says the LORD,“ and I will heal them.

I was watching in the night visions,“ And with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man was approaching. He went up to the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty. All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving him. His authority is eternal and will not pass away. His kingdom will not be destroyed.

Then the king will be attracted by your beauty. After all, he is your master! Submit to him!

and repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

For this reason the sovereign master himself will give you a confirming sign. Look, this young woman is about to conceive and will give birth to a son. You, young woman, will name him Immanuel.

( 5: 1) As for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, seemingly insignificant among the clans of Judah– from you a king will emerge who will rule over Israel on my behalf, one whose origins are in the distant past.

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

Here is the LORD’s proclamation to my lord:“ Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!”The LORD extends your dominion from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies!

For this reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he may be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously,“ It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.

This desolation will continue until new life is poured out on us from heaven. Then the desert will become an orchard and the orchard will be considered a forest.Justice will settle down in the desert and fairness will live in the orchard.Fairness will produce peace and result in lasting security.

But the angel said to them,“ Do not be afraid! Listen carefully, for I proclaim to you good news that brings great joy to all the people:Today your Savior is born in the city of David. He is Christ the Lord.This will be a sign for you: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger.”Suddenly a vast, heavenly army appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”

‘ The Lord said to my lord,“ Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?If David then calls him‘ Lord,’ how can he be his son?”No one was able to answer him a word, and from that day on no one dared to question him any longer.

But I will have pity on the nation of Judah. I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by the warrior’s bow, by sword, by military victory, by chariot horses, or by chariots.”

Now those who had been scattered because of the persecution that took place over Stephen went as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message to no one but Jews.

and from Jesus Christ– the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own blood

This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realmsfar above every rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And God put all things under Christ’s feet, and he gave him to the church as head over all things.Now the church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

one Lord, one faith, one baptism,one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.Therefore it says,“ When he ascended on high he captured captives; he gave gifts to men.”Now what is the meaning of“ he ascended,” except that he also descended to the lower regions, namely, the earth?He, the very one who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.It was he who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,to equip the saints for the work of ministry, that is, to build up the body of Christ,

Indeed you will go out with joy; you will be led along in peace; the mountains and hills will give a joyful shout before you, and all the trees in the field will clap their hands.

For the scripture says,“ Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

“ I myself have installed my king on Zion, my holy hill.”The king says,“ I will announce the LORD’S decree. He said to me:‘ You are my son! This very day I have become your father!Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the ends of the earth as your personal property.

so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming– and is now here– when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.“ Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voiceand will come out– the ones who have done what is good to the resurrection resulting in life, and the ones who have done what is evil to the resurrection resulting in condemnation.

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
