And Cornelius said, Four days ago, until this hour, I was keeping the ninth hour of prayer in my house; and behold, a man stood before me in bright apparel,

Cornelius replied,“ Four days ago at this hour, at three in the afternoon, I was praying in my house. Just then a man in a dazzling robe stood before me

And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

Cornelius replied,“ Four days ago at this very hour, at three o’clock in the afternoon, I was praying in my house, and suddenly a man in shining clothing stood before me

At about the ninth hour of the day, he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him,“ Cornelius!”

So he called them in and provided a place to stay. On the next day Peter arose and went out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.On the next day they entered into Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them, having called together his relatives and his near friends.

While they were looking steadfastly into the sky as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white clothing,

While I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before Yahweh my God for the holy mountain of my God;yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening offering.

Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel were assembled to me, because of their trespass of the captivity; and I sat confounded until the evening offering.At the evening offering I arose up from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn; and I fell on my knees, and spread out my hands to Yahweh my God;

When the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier of those who waited on him continually.Having explained everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.Now on the next day as they were on their journey, and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.

His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

Now in the twenty- fourth day of this month the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, with sackcloth, and dirt on them.The offspring of Israel separated themselves from all foreigners and stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.They stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of Yahweh their God a fourth part of the day; and a fourth part they confessed, and worshiped Yahweh their God.

He said to them,“ Don’t be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him!

Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

While they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothing.
