祂上升时，他们都定睛望着天空，忽然有两个身穿白衣的人站在他们身旁，

我继续祷告，承认我和同胞以色列人的罪，为我上帝耶和华的圣山在祂面前祈求。我正祷告的时候，先前在异象中看见的那位加百列奉命疾飞而来。那是献晚祭的时候。

听了以色列上帝的话而战抖的人都聚集在我周围，因为流亡归来的人不忠。我惊惧地坐在那里，直到献晚祭的时候。献晚祭的时候，我满怀忧伤地起来，穿着那撕裂的衣服和外袍，双膝跪下，向我的上帝耶和华伸出双手，

向他说话的天使离开后，哥尼流叫来两个家仆和自己的一个敬虔侍卫，把刚才的事告诉他们，然后差他们去约帕。第二天中午，他们快要到达约帕时，彼得上屋顶去祷告。

他的容貌如闪电，衣裳洁白如雪。

这月二十四日，以色列人聚集禁食。他们身披麻衣，头撒尘土。以色列人与其他外族人隔离，站着承认自己的罪恶和祖先的过犯。他们站在自己的地方，宣读他们上帝耶和华的律法书，长达三个小时。他们又用了三个小时认罪，敬拜他们的上帝耶和华。

那青年对她们说：“不要害怕，你们要找那位被钉十字架的拿撒勒人耶稣吗？祂已经复活了，不在这里。你们看！这是安放祂的地方。

一天，在下午三点祷告的时间，彼得和约翰去圣殿。
