所以我立刻派人去請你。你來了真好。現在我們都在上帝面前，要聽主吩咐你的一切話。」

不可忘記用愛心接待旅客，因為曾經有人這樣做，在無意中接待了天使。

說：「看哪，我主，請你們轉到僕人家裏過夜，洗你們的腳，清早起來再上路。」他們說：「不！我們要在廣場上過夜。」羅得懇切地請他們，他們就轉向他，進到他屋裏。羅得為他們預備宴席，烤無酵餅，他們就吃了。

你們要互相款待，不發怨言。

呂大原與約帕相近；門徒聽見彼得在那裏，就派兩個人去見他，央求他說：「請快到我們那裏去，不要躭延。」

我們留心做好事，不但在主面前，就是在人面前也是這樣。

所以，我一被邀請，沒有推辭就來了。現在請問，你們為甚麼叫我來呢？」

其實我有飼料草料可以餵驢，我和你的使女，以及與我們在一起的僕人都有餅有酒，甚麼都不缺。」老人說：「願你平安！你所需用的我都會給你們，只是不可在廣場上過夜。」於是老人領他到家裏，餵上驢。他們洗了腳，就吃喝起來。
